Unless you wanna tell us that the news is being plagiarized from other news outlets which we can log on to and read the authentic material , anything less is trying to promote a disgruntled family of so called professional journalist. Hopefully you ask me why all this hatred Moe? I can't wait. ..............................................Peace

Spineless direction,it is obvious to me that elequence in the lawyers,in a normal circumstance those who decide the outcome could be swayed by the eloquence of the lawyers, in Gambia this does not apply and direction is given that the address has to be written. Kay what say you ? |

I do not think even the die heart APRC supports have the stomach for the of idea of killing Gen. Tamba, I have seen a lot fall from grace but killing Tamba will be the untimate wake up call. The idea of killing Gen Tamba will be a water shed moment. |

Terengba,
Chairman will not kill Tamba. This is another open call. When Tamba is killed, the bees of Kanilai forest will fight back. That will be the end of Chairman Jammeh. |

Of course if found Guilty he will be sentenced to Death. Gambia has not enforced the death penalty since it's inception , several prisoners are in Mile two prisons awaiting a death sentence that will never be enforced. The president believes in locking the convicts in jail for life rather than kill anyone. Some of the conspirators of the 2006 coup facing death sentences have not been killed yet which they should all be lined up and Killed. Let them try this in other West African countries and not succeed like Nigeria or Ghana and see what the outcome is. They know exactly what they would be facing and by law they should be hung or sent to the firing squad. Ya'll can sit here and be retarded with you non political ideologies but the Fact remains. The state can get away with anything if it's justified and in the interest of the State................................................Peace |

Death Row inmates lined up, to testify for Prosecution, against Gambia's First General & Co.
In Treason Trial [version]v.2.0 Has DPP Chenge Bounced Back? Weird......................................lol!
"......The prosecution has filed this indictment together with six witnesses and, according to the DPP, the witnesses are all prisoners. The same thing applies to the accused, who are also detained there," Mboge submitted.
He further submitted that the prosecution's application for an adjournment lacks merit, and that it would take a few minutes for the state, with all their apparatus, to bring these witnesses to court.
He, therefore, urged the trial judge to dismiss the prosecution's application for an adjournment.
DPP Chenge replied that this matter came up not a long time ago, and that it is natural that there can be lapses. He added that they needed a considerable time to proceed with the matter....." http://thepoint.gm/africa/gambia/article/in-treason-trial-judge-frowns-on-prison-officers Friday, July 02, 2010.......

New "evidence" from convicts. Was The General mentioned during their trial & conviction? I doubt it. There's a stinker from the mercenary judges/layers. We need refresheners to purify the courts from these lowlifes . This is repugnant, Moe, if that's what you mean |

Kitab you have to understand that the problems of the courts have nothing to do with the so called mercenary Judges. Thats kinda tribalist and prejudiced. I'ts a shame that a people are being judged this way. Gambians are very incompetent individuals. We can sit here and discuss whats wrong with the courts if you like and I can reassure you it mainly has to do with incompetent lawyers and just the system that was never a priority. The failures of the judiciary has nothing to do with the Judges. All they have to do is Interpret the Law. If anyone does not like their interpretations well I can assure you that most speaking need to go back to school anyways. It makes me wonder what kinda name Nigerians should come up with for Backward Gambians and Politicians , Thats right thats why they don't entertain Darboe of the UDP and many others RIGHT!........................................................Peace |

Give me a break Terangba thats what Kemo Cham and his foolish friends are screaming the problem is not proving beyond reasonable doubt. There is overwhelming evidence and testimony from convicts of the previous coup which just to remind you all of cyber space denied happened, Most should even be ashamed to mention it but if you are dealing with "NITT you Nyaka Faida" you have to understand that they are indoctrinated fools......................................Peace |

No no no, criticizing mercenary judges isn't "kinda tribalistic nor prejudicial", but patriotic nationalistic. These lowlifes are a remnant from the colonial era. Conserving these relics within our courts system is unwise. They should go judge or lawyer their own people. Their interest is solely monetary, as mercenaries always are. They should leave ASAP. Gambians Can! |

This is where that argument seems to have flaws and lack merit, Gambians are not impartial due to the nature of the environment . Everyone is related somehow, There is nothing Relic about having foreign judges , All over the Islands including Barbados ,there are Gambian Judges serving. You seem not to understand the implications of being a small country or as in the case of the Islands it's size. You in particular will not lock your neighbor or wife's cousin or uncle in Jail and I hope you Feeling Me. Calling them mercenary judges is prejudiced, tribalist and just plain ignorant bro their presence is propitious in any given location meriting and warranting impartiality. What do you think would have been the outcome if in the same scenario a Gambian judge presided over this matter. The out come would be the same. You have to understand it is in no way a judges responsibility to question a law whether it's subjected to a judicial review, unfair or not secondly if their job is only to interpret the Laws, well I am assuming if asked 1+1= you will dare not say 4. Thats the position they are caught up in Kitabul. Gambians and politicians including the opposition either by virtue of jealous or it's just a trend to undermine the system, are focused on the judiciary which is totally unrealistic and baseless..................................................................Peace

Moe. they're denying it never happened because they've proactively encouraged coup attempts, and when they fail they pretend like they've never happen just to save face.
KitabukArerr, If the lowlives are the remnants of the Colonial Era? Then they are sure living a long time Bro! Judges don't become Judges overnight you know! They have to be educated trained, gain relevant experience to become Judges. How many experienced distinguished Gambian Judges live and work in Gambia? If you are to say that only indigenous Gambians should be employed by the Gambia Judiciary then people will be languishing in Prison for the rest of their natural lives nevermind the Death Penalty. It will be Death Penalty by default.
Now please show me which country on earth rewards treason amongst its armed forces? Has any General been given a medal for organising a failed military takeover? Or is that the hypothetical Utopia of the Cyber oppostion crew. I see Essa has become impatient deciding to come out the shadows to front the opposition having tirelessly trying to place himself into the front line position of his clever chess game outwitting his opponents. I just hope in all the confusion he doesn't outwit himself. He no longer is satisfied with the Directors role he wants to preform on stage centre stage. Well that's a prime position for a performing artist. Karama is his Jali. Very interesting I must say if all fails Essa at least your have the material for a great Novel which ever way the wind blows.
Peace
