Omega this is just me speaking and knowing damn well that if left to me We should be asking Bokarr Sey where his Permit is but his realization of his sell out tendencies and incompetency is evident now a days in his writings, am glad he acknowledges it now but trust me he will forget next week . This week the fool decided that Only Gambians can save or free Gambia but yesterday his entourage was busy tarnishing the Image of the country worldwide in a bid to discredit the Regime in the name of the opposition, this is all driven from from being a disgruntled employee in the first place. APRC's Supporters/Defenders will rule cyberspace when they address the issues decent citizens are crying about. Trust me the cries will get lowder by the day. Hope Foroyaa did not make the terrorist list. See the link below

I hope you are referring to Omega since I ain't never been to an APRC meeting and don't know anyone associated with the Party. Except for what I read on the papers. Prior to my visit Terangba it had been almost 16 years prior to Going to the Gambia. Trust me as rulers of the free world our plan is to limit all the cries and get rid of the crocodile tear shedders.................................. Peace

Terangba, don't believe a crap what this Moe guy writes... He has shown all kind of colors here... How would any one with common sense believe that he did not go to Gambia for 16 years and has no affiliation with APRC and yet in has the guts to sit here and defend the cruel regime....

What does he know about Gambia or anything else? These are lost souls with no identity. Neither African nor Westerner!!! lost boys of Sudan are better than these people who claim to love Gambia when they don't know jack about what Gambians have to go through...

We will strip them nicked on this forum...

Moe thought he could easily change his loyalty by critising Jammeh... No santuary for you and you will be dealt with squarely...

Since they can't compete at an intellectual level, we will find them in their slums and defeat them there as well....

Comin guys let's have some mature politics. Let me ask you a question has any of the victims relatives approached their NAMS to find out what happened to their family members? If so what was their reply, as NAMS they should be their to represent their Consituents by asking the relevant bodies the relevant questions.

I would like to genuine know why is it when someone goes missing in Gambia, its always insinuated that it is the Security Forces who are directly responsible for it. And there can never be any other possible explanation whatsoever!
This is very strange as if in Gambia there no criminals in its mist just the incumbent, otherwise its the most perfect place on the planet with no need for prisons because everyone who is arrested has no justifiable reason to be detained whatsoever, only that they vote for another party. Are you Guys serious Are you Guys serious for sure!

Let's keep the disappearances in proportion at present this is seems like speculation. For all we know these people could of paid people traffickers to get them out of the country, and they could easily be languishing in an immigration camp waiting to be processed or been lost in dessert or at sea. There could be many explanations why these people disappeared as is the case right around the Globe. The only difference is that when people disappear in other country's they don't automatically blame the security forces for there disappearance as in the case of Gambia.

Foroyaa wants to be proactive then it can start by appealing for witnesses to come forward and start to assist the Police in piecing together what happened on the day of the disappearances etc. Really these Journalists need to have some Continuous Professional Development, so at least they can conduct some indepth investigative Journalism that can stand up to scrutiny.

Dbaldeh how can you profess to be able to strip anyone naked and presume that they don't know nothing about Gambia. Don't get it twisted.

As for lost souls my brother you seem to know very little about metaphysics as you can take man out of a country but you can't take country out of a man.

Africa is our birthrate and it is written in the constitution of the African Union the descendant of Africans enslaved during the Transatlantic and other waves of African migration make up the 5th Zone of Africa and the treaty was rectified at Kensington Town Hall, London in 2004, and was there to witness the AU Representative ask us to vote on it.The event was facilitated by the Greater London Authority's Lee Jasper.

So Dbaldeh armchair politics is one thing and being passionate is another, as for another claiming my ancestral rights of passage forget I'm an African without apology, and who has a problem with that its their problem.

Dbaldeh you forget that Gambia's are hooked up to all different forms of communication bearing in mind that communication is a two way street. Some Gambians at home have even commented to me that they are sick and tired of fake Assylum opportunistic seekers spreading lies about Gambia, and directly wanting to sabotage their livelihoods. Because they are so envious about the country's prosperity since they ran off of to pastures new and finally realised that they made the greatest mistakes of their lives by swapping what they had for fools gold in a foreign country.

Anyway time is of the essence as the saying goes you can't poor a well into a cup.

Sister Omega,

Lot of respect for you my dear sister.... we will agree to disagree when it comes to Gambian and African Politics... and I must say I respect your right to support anyone you so desire. I must also promise you that I will always discuss the issue with you and not get personal... the people who deserve that attention gets plenty of it!!!

Let's take you up on your assertion that you don't understand why when people disappear Gambians always blame the security forces...

If it acts like a rat, smells like a rat then it must be a rat....

Everything starts with precedence, when a government or its agents are seen arresting citizens time again and these people disappear for good, who do you blame? We cannot blame every single disappearance in Gambia on the government agents but lets take a few examples:

Chief Ebrima Manneh was arrested by NIA agents and was seen being paraded from one police station to another...

Kanibaa kanyi was arrested by NIA agents and was seen paraded from one station to another.... just to mention a few!!!

I was an eye witness to an arrest on my last visit to Gambia of a poor fula man who was brought to the NIA headquarters and he was lying on the ground dying of stomach pain an no one could tell who brought him there...

Sister Omega, if citizen upon citizen continue to be arrested by security agents and they disappear year after year... if your relative or my relative disappears who would you accuse of arresting that citizen?

Why do you think other goverments interfer when their citizens are arrested in other nations?

How many authorities do we have in the Gambia who has the right to arrest citizens??? only the government and its agents...

The hard fact is that no one is accoutable in that country from the President down to the last man...

The government has set precedence and not only did they deny arresting citizens but even in events where citizens have been murdered in broad day light... government refused to investigate those crimes...

Sister Omega, it is government's responsibility to protect the security and safety of citizens including you and I when we visit Gambia?

It is government's responsibility to make sure that all those arrested are brought before impartial court of law or release without delay.

It is government's responsibility to make sure if citizens are falsely arrested and imprisoned that they are not only released but compensated for their agonies...

It is government's responsibility to make sure that the streets are safe for citizens to roam without threat of disappearance...

I can go on and on... and please don't tell me elected members of representatives can do something about it...

Ain't you aware of the rubber stamping griots in the house who dear say something much more do something to represent their electorates...

Please let us not act as if we have a genuine and free democracy and freedom in the Gambia... You know in Gambia that is not the case

So sister O, you and I should remind ourselves that the people behind bars for years could be our own parents, brothers, sisters or it could be you or me... so let us not be naive about what is going on in the Gambia...

As human beings we all want the same happiness, freedom and independence... So please reflect, reflect, and reflect... "the life you carry may be your own"

Thanks

Baldeh,

Ask Terangba what he thinks of me I ain't scared one bit or worried about what anyone has to say but the brother ain't that stupid either. You are exceptionally retarded, mentally deranged Demba "Sukunya". Yes Village boy I am the cyber chameleon I adapt to any environment or weather. Trust me on this prior to Going to Gambia for an extended period lately . I did not go to Gambia for 16 years rest assured. It makes you wonder right, How do I know what I know. It's because ya'll from Up country, you do not know the right caliber of people. 75% to 90 percent of your village is uneducated. In Banjul you know exactly what you are, thats why you left your whole family behind and forgot about the cows and goats claiming stakes in the presidency with your limited Education. I never once Changed my loyalty to anything I am the King of Cyberspace and I got educated thats the reason why? Same Moe just more sophisticated and Wicked(Bow Bow Bow).

When are you gonna start rearing your cows and precious little billy goats Demba........................................peace

Ok sister I will give the administration the benefit of doubt on the cases of numerous missing Gambians. Since I do not have any material prove that the Government Agents picked them up in the middle of the night.
How about the cases of so many Gambians that were picked up in broad day light by security agents and sent to detention camps for years. The referenced foroyaa article mentioned at least five people who were picked up in broad day light. I know of a man who is currently in detention, he has been in detention for four months without being charged, without access to his family.
Sister if this man is your husband will you sing the same tune, I bet you will not. Is this what you want us to accept? Gambian’s have a legitimate reason for opposing the APRC administration because there are so many documented human rights abuses.
