Sister O, it is the ALSAMADEH(the Sheikh's official brand) sign on the grande bubu that caught my eye. The Sheikh asked me to tell you and Turk to look forward to a special invitation for this year's July 22 celebration, where you will be honoured with an ORG decoration for your steadfast support of the ALSAMADEH project. By the way, i hope you and Turk are not disputing the fact that the Sheikh is a corrupt tyrant? It certainly does not take an MMB figure that out. He might not be a drugs dealer but he is a crook, murderer, thief, 'witch hunter' and wasteful squanderer of public dalasis. That is undisputable.

Oh, that is a rainy season.

Wait, wait Kitabul,

You don't owe Sister / Brother Omega a minute of response time regarding who you are. Be yourself. This is not Yaya Jammeh's jungle. Where Yaya is freely misusing our national information resources to deceive a whole Gambian nation, we have right to exhume the dead and buried truth. The person that Sister Omega and Turk need advising is their patron captain Yaya Jammeh not us. Sister Omega advances with issues like cyber laws as way of scaring people. No way.

Shaka, you have made it again with that message from captain Jammeh over his invitation to Omega and Turk. It was joyfl to read the way you put everything. I could not stop laughing off and had to read that post many times.

Some people believe that captain Jammeh has discovered Bantaba and does read the posts.

Let Sister Omega ask captain Jammeh to sign in with his name and we take the debate further. Not doing sure makes a coward of Jammeh as Sister Omega makes a coward of those of us.

So Sister, if you are ready for business, let's go public. When Yaya signs in by his true ID, I promise to come open. No jokes.

Who then is the biggest coward?

Being more than serious, let captain Yaya Jammeh come on Bantaba and I am prepared to take him on. I mean that, no joke about it. Serious about development, let him tender his agenda for public debate. I will take him on.

A patriotic leader would have come to join ordinary citizens on such forum like Bantaba.

Are you sure you are not joking Sister Omega?

I pledge my total readiness to face captain Jammeh with his development agenda to the last dot.

For all we know Karamba Jammeh might already be on the bantaba or has never heard of it. What do you think Karamba. To make sure why don't you send him a letter and request a debate. I'll leave that up to you beings though you're more than ready.

Shaka

People get the leaders they deserve. Not better, not worse. Do you Gambians deserve better government? I mean the literacy level is about about 50 %. What is the percentage of students attend higher educational institition who would be potential politican or government worker? Corruption is within society. Corruption is not invented by this regime. It existed before and it will exist tomorrow. What percentage of people read newspaper? What percentage of people understand or discuss budget proposal? I see Karamba who claims to take on Jammeh has no political and economic knowledge who has an political doctrine which was built on emotion, hate, street talk. And most of the posters talking here abondoned the country anyway. I have seen some brilliant people in politics howerver, it is very small MINORITY. Politics in Gambia is still like football team fan or based on tribe. So, you shaka may have higher standard, good, but due to the realities of Gambia, you get what you (in general) deserve. I just can't accept the fact that Jammeh is responsible for all of this.

I have not seen a single post here pointing anything other than Jammeh as the 'scape goat'. Once I pointed to socio-economic problems, Karamba tried to portray that as insult.

My question to you is that do you (as a society) look at yourself at the mirror and realize the shortcomings of yourself and stop blaming everything on Jammeh once in your life?

In total compliance Sister Omega, here we go:

Dear Captain Yaya Jammeh,

Debates about your conduct of Gambian state affairs get top temperatures on Bantaba. You being the patriotic man and lover of truth as pronounced by Jaliba Kuyateh and Jermaine Jackson, I trust that you will continue to live by demands of that same truth.

One of your most unflinching advocates Sister Omega thought it is good idea inviting you on our open forum. I think she is right and would like to use this moment to call for your direct participation.

I understand that you have lined up our good Sister Omega and close rank Turk for the occasion of July revolution 2010 celebration by special invitation. This news was conveyed by Shaka quite recently. I am not the most competent person to thank you about that but will leave it up to a more suitable person on this forum do so.

Captain, there are speculations that you do read Bantaba and other Gambian online outlets. I am aware that since you seized power, the narrow strip of passage to Kanilai has now been transformed to a near dual carriage thanks to your very capable self. You have also linked the fibre optic cable from the Banjul- Soma highway into Kanilai for telecommunication. You also keep crocodiles and other sea and land animals for jolly time.

Captain, your transformation of Gambia is perceived with mixed feelings. Most worrying is the claim that you have a system of killing or rampant arrests and detention without trial.

I understand that you harbour the higher ambition of staying to rule Gambia at least 50 years or may choose to hand over power to baby Jammeh who stands becoming the youngest Gambian leader in history.

Captain, when you ascend on Bantaba, don't forget to update the population about your development agenda so that we discuss it openly.

The suggestion by your good rep Sister Omega came at a better time when most people doubted if you will join us. Others say you are a brave man and will not care showing up.

I trust your open presence will be good for you as that is the best way to prove your skeptics wrong.

Before you finally join us, some other members of Bantaba would continue writing to you. So expect more letters in coming days.

While we are all eagerly waiting to see you, it is not possible that you will know us by our individual person due to numbers.

Most welcome captain Jammeh.

Joy to you

Turk you wrote:

"I see Karamba who claims to take on Jammeh has no political and economic knowledge who has an political doctrine which was built on emotion, hate, street talk. And most of the posters talking here abondoned the country anyway." end of quote

My response:

Choose what please you. I have never claimed knowledge of either POLITICS or ECONOMICS.

My position is very clear. Yaya Jammeh used the most uncivil means to gain a political position (Gambian head or tail of state)

If refusing to accept that ugly state of affairs amounts to ignorance of POLITICS and ECONOMICS it is up to you Turk. I don't even want to think about that. All I know is that Yaya Jammeh snatched that position and now enjoying to play brutal on Gambians. That is written lot of times by people who certainly do not know each other. Do they all need knowledge of POLITICS and ECONOMICS to know that use of political position for selfish economic gains is misappropriation?

Turk, you are full of contradictions and will not take sound breath of your folly.

How on earth can you expect even fools believe that Yaya Jammeh is not the problem and that Gambians are the problem?

Education, reading population, 50%, you what? In most developed countries, the SERIOUS READING population is not a reflection of standards. Lot of people left school at very young age and continue working 30 or more years without any formal educational pursuit. That is plenty in lot of developed nations. It is a minority of persons carrying the majority in most developed nations. How will increase in reading population change the criminal conduct of bandits who seized power by rule of gun? Open your mind's eye and please stop throwing dust on people already facing the heavy weight of a tyrant.

Turk, you have to measure your conclusions to tally. Stop contradicting yourself and be real.

Yaya Jammeh remains THE only obstacle to normal life in Gambia. What do you will happen if he abandones the deadly weapons and Gambians freely engage him?

Karamba

Assume he has gone. Nothing will change. The problem of Gambia deep rooted with tribalism, lack of economic resource, social structure, infrastucture, technology, education, wealth and lack of historical experience for governing. And most important, non-existence of capable alternative (collective intelligence and desire). It is unfair to blame Jammeh being only obstacle of 'normal life'. Look at the mirror and you will see the who is responsible. The problem is not personalities. It is society as a whole.

Whatever, Sis!
My point is, it's unwise to reveal one's identity, when one's in opposition to your lord's mode of governance, period!
If I was in the same bandwagon, as you are Sis, I'd have proudly revealed my ID. Therefore: lucky U...............................lol!
