| The female ministers in Jammeh's regime are window-dressing. Donor countries kind of pressure for it. |

You are right Bamba. In the U.S. public figures have almost no right to privacy. There is in U.S. law what they call " public Figure Doctrine ". I wish the Gambia has something similar to that some day.

Obviously there should not be any secret between the Directors and shareholders of a company with regards to the affairs of the company. Hence government officials are public employees there should not be any hiding from the public.

Bamba if i may respectfully say some of the female ministers are people who have, for example in the education sector, taught for almost 30yrs and i think they are competent and deserve it finally. they made it to the top through sheer hardwork.
this must be acknowledged. |

| We all know that Jammeh is a Dictator and I don't think he would listen to any input form the female or male ministers. I feel that sometimes a wife or a husband knows what button to push and perhaps Zanib is fully aware of the ways she can put her point across to her husband. |

This is from someone very close to Jammeh that Tuti was very good at soften Jammeh heart for she always tell him whats been said outside.Tuti knows the culture the language and the people as she is Gambian as for Zainab she dose'nt understand any of the Language dose'nt know the people and by large dose not give a butut to what his husband is doing to the Gambian people not even Jammehs immediate family. Zainab use to visit the Gambia as a guest of Tarek Musa & Amadu Samba with other girls from Magrib porposely for bussiness and fun Tuti used to show them around the Gambia (she was betrayed by both Yahya and zainab)to cut the crap Zainab was a prostitue.Yahya met her through her trade and Tarek Musa who was her pimp. |

Bravo Justice!!!!! U'v brought another nerve-racking perspective of this Zainab Jammeh's saga.
Jambo, simmer down. Gambians dont discriminate their light skins. Look at the Singatehs, the elder Singateh is Gambia's de facto vice president, the young one is one of the heads of the army. What is being thrown at Yaya is his nemesis. If Jammeh picks up a gun to become Gambia's #1 employee, he has to be prepared to sacrifice the secrets of his bedroom. That's the way life will ever be. |

| bamba, my first comments were about the remarks being made about her being light skinned, and that she should have responsiblity for her husbands ways. I am calm but thought it was a racist comment. |

Principally, every human being deserves privacy protection, and the bedroom secrets of any person should be regarded as private. I am not a voyeur, so what the hell do I have to do with Jammeh's marriage? I don't want to marry him, so as far as I am concerned, he could even marry a crocodile if he liked .
But of course this is only true as long as other people are not affected.
Gambiabev is right, the wives or husbands of politicians sometimes are not to be underestimated. Maybe some of you remember Mimi Papandreou, former First Lady of Greece, Andreas Papandreou's (1919-1996) young second wife. Greedy for money and power, the ex-stewardess almost ruined Greece during her husband's second term of office as prime minister in the 1990ies, and she completely ruined his career and reputation (for her own reputation, there was almost nothing left to ruin when she married Papandreou).

AM SORRY I IF ANGER ANY BODY , IT`S NOT MY INTENTION.
Kijera, i am sorry to disagree with your statement. When you occupy the highest position in the land, you cannot expect a private life. Everything about the First Family is of importance to us beacsue it shapes his policy. We should be concerened about his marriage life. You see if Junkung is not happy, we will all feel it one way or the other.
Yaya is not an ordinary person like me. Therefpre to treat him as such is to ignore realities and under-rate his position. When Yaya sneezes all of catches cold. |

Could there be a contradiction here ?

I cannot agree more. Public officials have to be subjected to scrutiny and if YOU CANNOT TAKE THE HEAT GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN. The days of mashla are gone for public officials. We pay them from our taxes and therefore have a right to know who they are.THEY ARE NOT CELEBRRITIES BUT PUBLIC SERVANTS. A CELEBRITY IS SOME ONE WHO SEEKS FAME AND WHEN HE HAS IT PUTS ON DARK GLASSES NOT TO BE RECOGNISED. |

| I have heard that Zainab does not visit Junkungs mother and kept a distance from the immediate family. Tuti was quite good at calming Junkung down and gave him advises and would cook food and take it to Junkung's mother in tune with our traditions. It is also said that sometimes it take two months and Junkung will not have a face to face contact with his mum. It is just a rumour and should be treated as such but there is no smoke without fire. |

No one is holding her responsible. We voted for Yaya not her.Certainly She has close contact with Junkung who occupies public office and is surely of interest to everyone. That is why they are called the First Family. Who cares about Kondorong. I am nothing. "SO BOTEH BUUKI KHAJJ BOWLA" |
