i will post in here the richness and diversity in just one Gambian tribe ,the magnificent Puulari. yes ,fula is the most diverse language group in the Gambia according the books and records i have of them. pulo dugata ,pulo hulata .kono wona chuni ,medo hyee dalton nodokae tusoor. aah madiba kadi dogai see humdey wulle.( fula man doesn't run scaried. fula man is not afraid. but not now .i see dalton runing all the time. aah but madiba also run when things are hot) direct translation.
but in all seriuosness ,i will post here later. i may need some corrections here and there.

see the richness of the Fulani. An old tribe. Infact there are accounts that the Fulani are one of the lost tribes of Israel after the Exodus from Egypt. I do believe ibn that theory.

The Fulani do not look typically african but of some northen regions of africa or the middle east

The Fulani tribe has 9 different dialects, structured in 4 groups:

East Central group - Sokoto and Western Niger:

Fulfulde / Western Niger: spoken in Niger
Fulfulde / Central Eastern Niger: in Niger
Fulfulde / Nigerian: in Nigeria - sometimes also called "Central Northern Nigeria and Eastern Niger"

Eastern group - Adamawa:

Fulfulde / Adamawa: in Cameroon
Fulfulde / Bagirmi: in Chad

West Central group:

Fulfulde / Benin-Togo: in Benin
Fuuta Jallo: see below
Fulfulde / Maasina: see below

Western:

Pulaar:
Fulfulde, Maasina (Peul, Maasina) mainly in Mali, Ghana, Ivory Coast. Massina is a region in Mali
Fulfulde, Pulaar (Peul) mainly in Gambia, Guinea Bissau, Mauritania and Senegal. Sometimes called Fulbeh Jeeri:

Dialects:
• Fuutankoore: in Mauretania and Northern Sénégal
• Jeerinkoore: in Sénégal excluding Northern Sénégal
• Southern Pulaar. in Fulado-Gabu, South and South East towards Guinea-Bissau and Guinea-Conakry

Fuuta Jallo
