Greeting Guys the roamer mill is milling. I was in Gambia when the foiled coup attempt occurred Gambia was undisturbed and people were going about their everyday business. Also vendors were openly selling The Point, Independent and Forayaa. I even saw someone wearing a NADD T-shirt. I don't know whether or not you are aware that there is a climate of reconcillation within the country between the political parties at present as seen in the newspapers President Jammeh embracing Jawara this can only be a good thing. For Gambia and Africa as a whole. This is a positive step in the right direction, so why are so many people trying to whip up so much confusion? Let's pray for peaceful and fair elections. The last thing Gambia needs is a coup, let the people have the opportunity to decide through the ballot box and whatever the outcome hopefully this time around the people will be represented on both sides of the National Assembly after all that is a measurement of a mature ethical democrate mechanism.

Peace

It looks like all the arrests were made from the homes. I am seriously taking this with a pinch of salt. I hope the case of Ndure Cham will not be another Foday Makalo. No one has seen him since and is purported to be on the run. May be he is dead already who knows. Only time will tell.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.”

Hi,
Well Ndrue Cham has been Captured so I don't think they will say he eacaped.
But for you Sankofa, you are right we should all support our president but I can only rally behind him if our countryis attarked by and outside country, then He will get my unreserved support. But I cannot support him when it comes to national issues.Come-on the man is a rebel like any other coup leader no matter what.He has to first of all clean his hands by giving up the power he forcefull acquired through the barrel of the gun.And then if he is made clean by an independant commission, will then be free to contest any clean election.I can fairly give him my support then. But How can I support a man I think has blood on his hands?I would be a hypocrete if I do that because then am against my self.

Sankora your sense of thinking is very remote. You ought to be expose to the facts and what is happening around the world. How can an ignorrant, senseless person say he is a Green ******* boy. Gambia has gone from the frying pan to the fire. Think about the hardship the masses are suffering from.

Rice been the basic stable food was D150 in 1994 now is D700. Prices went up D550 between 1994 to 2006. Is this a blessing or a curse. Soap was D1.00 in 1994 now D4.00 with an increament of D3.00 over 11 years. Does that means the country is developing. Road conditions have diplicted. Communication is week. Can someone boast and say thats development. Dump people like you, going around.Terrorising innocent citizenry, you want to tell me is democracy.

You think the little dalasis in your pocket is something to boast fare prices went up , prices of goods and service are skyrocketing. Average Gambians can't afford 3 meals a day. No freedom of speech
Collosal waste of state resources on flamboyant lifestyle by few greedy people.Intimidation, torturing, harassment and unlawful detentions of people.Injection of hateful feelings within the society and escalation of rampant segregations.

Stupidass conservative, brainwashed, *****. Bull**** with you and the rest of your so called Green Boys. Can a sensible matured individual boast about been a green dirty boys. People are thinking about how to make new inventions and contribute positively towards the society. People like you cause africa to be backward like yourself.

Let me tell you we are ont in the era were citizens will worship leaders. Leadership carries certain qualities and if one lacks that he/she act stupidly. This is what we are experiencing in the Gambia. Know that, what goes around comes around you and your so called flirty boys will dance to your tunes one day.

Ebra, I second that. Sankofa or whatever you name is. I think people like you who are not democratic or progressive but rather like to use power to terror people are backwards, ignorant and shameless. We need democracy not ruling by the guns.

Power to the people. Long live yaya, Abdul Aziz Jemus Junkung, DR Jammeh. We are soldiers with a difference and we have brought development to the Gambia. We will not compromise with any one who wants to destabilise our country. You will be dealt with without mercy.

Hear what this nasty guy is saying. Is sad to see guys like him living in decent society. Green boys means living and acting like animals in the bush. It is a place were the animals have no sense of making judicious decision for their future. Forum members, you see these are some of the reasons why it would be hard for developments to take place. Had it been that Sankofa's father was butchered by this notortious regime he would have speak differently. Opportunist period.

EBRA,

HIGH COST OF LIVING. DOES GAMBIA CULTIVATE ENOUGH RICE? HOW MANT GAMBIANS ARE INVOVLE IN FARMING? HOW MANY ATAYA VOUS CAN YOU FIND IN BANJUL AND ENVIRONS DURING THE DAY AND WORKING WEEK? WHAT DOES GAMBIA EXPORT? WHAT ARE GAMBIA'S NATURAL RESOURCES? SINCE 1994 ITS OVER 10YEARS ALOT HAS CHANGED IN WORLD ECONOMICS? LETS CALL A SPADE A SPADE. SOME OF US ARE HERE ABROAD CONTRIBUTING MORE TO THESE ECONOMIES THAN OURS. LETS WAKE GAMBIA'S PROBLEM IS BIGGER THAN YAYA.
