The warning has been set for today. Release the foreign exchange or else......

According to this story, there seems to be a scarcity of foreign exchange in the banks visited. Lets see what economists call the "invisible hand" is capable of doing in stabilising the situation once again.

Kondorong;
The invincible hand in this case is visible. Didnt we talk about what the consequences of the appreciating dalasi are. What i think is happening is hoarding and threatening to take the dollar to D4 is just going to make things worse from hoarding to capital flights. The government is saying that the appreciating dalasi dont affect them but bussinesses who exports products. Are they taking some lesson from bantaba? When bussinesses are affected government should be affected isn't the government for the people?

There is a phrase that has entered UK language,after a superb TV series several years ago called House of Cards;

At the moment the average Gambian has no profit at all from the stronger Dalasi. On Wednesday we sent money to Gambia for Korité; the amount our family received was ridiculous.

It looks like the dalasi is depreciating again. Whats going on?
