there is a famous saying by Ali mazuri " If they come for me during the night and you keep quiet, they will come for you during the day". Meaning if we allow bad governance just because it did not affect us, our turn will surely come.

Inshort we are are all in thesame boat. Arrest usually start in the night because dictators are cowards and would like to test public reaction and if no one says anything, then they bcome brave and will do it in day light just like in the gambia. . If i were yaya, i will ban politics and make my self emperor bacuse gambians will again say it was DIVINE WILL.

“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always.”

konderong, why are you now in Ethiopia...just wondering. now, if everyone thinks Gambians have a problem staying together, why do you think it is that way and how can we fix it. i have to admit that i do know what you guys are talking about. in the Gambian group in my state, there are soo many issues, people take everything soo personally, there is sooo much badmouthing and gossip and people love to take sides. its really disheartening cause i feel we could be doing sooo much we could be doing to help eachother. and worst, i feel like the gossiping keeps people who have good ideas from expressing it cause others are so quick to critize and put people down. i don't even think they realize what they're doing is really negative and uncalled for. i know for me, i don't like to go to our functions cause i don't feel comfortable in enviroments like that. i have to say that that is one thing i admire about nigerians cause they are all about each other and unity, or the nigerians i've seen anyways.

My blog name kondorong is mythical. It is an animal which looks like a human being but very short and always has a calabah on his head. His feet are positioned opposite to human beings and likes to attend to cows. It is only out in the hot sun, likes to wrestle anyone he sees and also likes bitter tomatoes.

Kondorong will also circumcise those who have not been initiated and so it is a dreadful creature and one that stirs fear but one that is responsible.

No one has ever seen it. In keeping with the name, i have changed by locations to leave one guessing just like Kondorong does. Anyway i was in Ethiopia twice and am familiar with the region.
