It has been a week of sad feelings. Sincere word of condolence is extended to all the bereaved; Sister Omega (for your fiancee and family), Dalton (for the Tambajangs), Gambiabev (for the Dibba family, and Ylowe(for grandma.) Bansang would have been a scene of sorrow over the week, going by the number of deaths reported. Death is one of those things we all share as the human family. May the souls of the departed rest in peace and the bereaved, to have the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen. |

My sincere condolences to all families who have recently lost a loved one. There must be a lot of sorrow in Bansang these days for the passing away of all three former elderly natives. May Allah (SWT) grant them Jannah. |

Condolences Sister Omega. i used to live in Bansang remembered him and am friends with the younger njies. May his soul rest in peace
I also lost my grandmother yesterday, Yassin Mbye of Bansang. She was one of the early settlers of bansang and raised most of her gandchildren including myself. Funeral services took place today in Banjul where she was staying during the last few years. This is extention to the Mbye family, ceesays, lowes, njies, jobes, jahumpas, jallows, etc, etc. MAY HER SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE AND MAY ALLAH GRANT HER JANNAH
Sister Omega, Ylowe, Gambiabev and Dalton 1; my condolence to you all and the whole family. May Allah accept all the prayers, shower mercy on the deceased and grant the families great strenght to recover from the departed souls.
Quote: "This is extention to the Mbye family, ceesays, lowes, njies, jobes, jahumpas, jallows, etc, etc." put me a distance relatiive within these surnames and within MANDING EMPIRE ( MAURITANIA, MALI, SENEGAL, GAMBIA, GUINEA etc). Hope Kondorong will give us some history about the MANDING EMPIRE! One of my great grandmothers SUNTU DIBBA!) was from the Dibba's in chaku banta and Saloum(MANDIGO!) The intricacy of mixed race made me to think now that am a typical Tukolorr and wollof mixed raced (recent generation of family tree).
However under the teachings of the koran and Islam brought to us by Prophet Muhamad (s.a.w); we are "ALL ONE IN THE EYES OA ALLAH THE ALMIGHTY, MOST EXHALT AND MOST MERCIFUL!"; addressed as "Yaa Bani Adam" or children of Adam & Eve. Race and tribalism are not helpful in multiculturarism and diversities of the human race. "Yaa Bani Adam" unify the human races
God bless! Amen! |
