You are both very seasoned thinkers from my reading of the many good postings you authored. Put down the guns and keep the highway on positive track. Nothing pays with personal tussels. There is more to do with time. We have all been punched several times in a go. That is the way. Have a positive handshake now and for good. |

Thanks Uncle Santa, but your uncle Al-hassan is about to mistake in the open.
I thought he is missing a very important point. Dalton doesn't reach the calibre of Halifa. I am only 28, and not a politician. I only do writing for hobby. My association to Gainako is in the open. Discourses are good, and they develop peoples' intellectually.
We should critique each other's work in a view for true media fraternity. Every one's work should be checked, and not a few as many people might think, they have liberty for insolence. |

Thanks for your mild words. I think Al-hassan is a good debator, but he is about to miss something important. I don't even blame those that are hiding. Isn't Fatou Jaw Manneh being persecuted right now? How about the observer journalist still in limbo?
I rest my case. i still welcome and challenge his critique of our work at Gainako. Newspapers and frums are just outlets, and they don't belong to individuals.

big karamba , brother dalton is a very civilise debater .uncle alhasan is an elder statesman ,so no harm here .regardless we need to dirty our hands some times to make bantaba interesting . i will not be a politicians in any way but i will always advocate for personate political debate ,some times take no prisoners  . that is why i like knondorong and Dalton .they are respectful but at the same time factual and precise .we need our leaders to be groom in all capacity .niceties don't work all the time .our prophet muhammed once state that '' be kind and gentle when that is appropriate but also be hard and firm if that is what is appropriate.'' so we are all within our range as kondo puts it thanks karamba for your mild manners ,my salam . |

Thank you for picking up faster. There is no doubt that the mere mention of Jammeh on Gambian soil subjects anyone to hostile encounters. Fatou Jaw and other journalists are examples. Jammeh can fall on individuals but he does not have the power to kill reason. |
