Dalton1,
Thank you for picking up faster. There is no doubt that the mere mention of Jammeh on Gambian soil subjects anyone to hostile encounters. Fatou Jaw and other journalists are examples. Jammeh can fall on individuals but he does not have the power to kill reason. |

Thanks Karamba,
Here is a puzzle. I will not pin Al-hasan on this one, but an e-mail on our editor's mail emanated from Sweden (Ip test) with some bad language, anonymous.. Now, where is the honesty in intellectaulity. See, i wished i never brought things from gainako to here, except good. and i respect my mentors here and at Gainako, otherwise...
Al-hassan can shake the hand. He can still critique my work constructively. Let him not stop there, but also look the work of all others including himself. Feedback is good, and should be taken in good faith.
Yaa' all have a good nite! |

Dalton1, karamba and the rest, I have red your postings and contents well noted. As you are the younger generation that is surposed to take over , I realy want us to debate and share views. In doing so we must be able to recoganise eachother when we meet eye and eye. I admire your courage as you also want Gambia to prosper with good democratic norms and values. Intellectual dishonesty is a worst disease. This we have experienced for a long time. My reason for the later posting is that we cannot recognise eachother with all sorts of names. I am not here to hide from anybody. Even the Gambia Government knows that I am not afraid hence i speak the truth. Those of us who have no intention to become politicians can contribute possitively and openly so as to give the rest of our citizens the opportunity to be able to vote correctily for the right leader without false impressions. Remember the failure of NAAD is partly because of hidden agendas and not being oppen withn themselves. As we all debate here I do not underate any of you, because of you level of understanding and intelligence. As I read throughyour postings, some of you can be very good administrators that Gambia needs. Please lets try and be more open to eachother so sa to have a good choice of leadership in the feature, if we wat to implement some of our ideas we mention here. Thank you for your time you took to read my angry posting.

Kay,
Me too, proud of big uncle Al-hassan. I followed his pieces here and other Gambian forums. He is a good debator, probably stayed outside Gambia for a long time, and might not follow to full beams the Gambia's status quo. One thing is certain, he was never a part and parcel of this crumbling administration and its bunch of thugs, though, he appears to become an extreme supporter nowadays, so touched by an editorial. I understand his frustration. And i agree with Al-hassan that these writings everywhere should be responsible and reflect on our future.
Bro. Al-hassan, God spare your name. I have no intention of being a politician, now or later, or to say i have no intention of opting for any leadership role in politics. I leave it upto the kays, karambas, kondorongs, Baldehs, and Suntus. But i have an intention opposing unjust leaders, now and later. This take of mine will not be dissolved, inshallahu.
With regards to Gainako, please find time to check our work always. Your constructive critique is always welcome, in the open, or via mail.I am a believer of oversight institutions. This is among the very editorials i ran in the wee days of Gainako. Make commentaries and even grant us an interview on any topic of your choice. It don't have to be politics. Gainako's ship is paddled towards the wishes of its readers. This, we promised our readers, and will do everything within our midst to fullfill.
Al-hassan,
Sorry, if any my debate with you, i angered you. One Gambia! One Love! One People!
Have a good day boss! |

Al-hassan,
here is the link to all we authored since we came to operations. Pick out the pieces your disagreed with, we can debate one by one.
Demba's pic is on the editorial. Open the poem, "Pariahs of doom", my pic is on there. Laama is also on there, the same for Samba.
Welcome to debate here or shift any part of it to Gainako.

dalton ,that is a call for uncle alhasan . GAINAKO DUKATA .many gambain's online can be open about their identity but at the end of the day it doesn't matter ,may be it may help the tyrant and i am sure uncle alhasan don't want the youngsters to be punished any how.
Santanfara, It depends on what ever you write against or for the motion. Remember all what is written about a certain individual or group of people in a newspaper must be the truth. One must always have the source to be correct. Look arround in the world, not all journalists are being punished because of what they report. It depends. Something untrue cannot be made a truth by the journalists. In the case of Gambia it is the same too. If the oppositation or newspaper men were being followed, how con foroyaa is still giving out their newspaper and Halipha, Sidia and other move freely.

ALHASAN , you cannot use the same stick to measure every body .it's true the foroyya is still operating in the gambia ,but you don't expect every news paper to have the same style .so why the closure of INDEPENDENT NEWS PAPER ,CITIZEN FM AND THE ARREST OF JOURNALIST ?.THIS ARE NOT FASLE NEWS but what the regine don't want people to know . my name is suntou touray and this is what is in my gambian passport and other non-gambian passport .i believe in kadari ( predestine ) i am not a least scared of the nia or any governemnet agency and so are many other gambian .but one doesn't have to lie infront of a moving train . many yougsters here are very good people ,they take there time to entertain us in the bantaba .for me i started visiting gambian site just last year and i enjoy it . let us not unduely put each other in danger .yahya doesn't have compassion alhasan ,if he does why arrest people for every flemsy reason ? now dalton ,suntou is not a secularist and i will not join in on the style of politics we have so i will be a bystander .please dalton we need the calibre of you ,karamba ,kobo, kay.kondo and even old hands like madis in our future politics .as kobs always state ''for the gambia our home land '' . |
