Is anyone following some stattling revelations on other sites. It appears Sarr, Sabally, and Chongan are spilling the beans over their various roles in the torture and murder cases since July 1994. Does this look anything like a rehearsal in the true trial of ex-president Jammeh. The president's own men are now spilling the beans. What can anyone make of revelations so far obtained online?

Guys, believe me or not no matter what these guys are saying at this juncture (be it Sabally, Sarr, Chongan etc )they all got blood in their hands. What I mean is that, each an everyone of them played a crucial role at some stage helping Jammeh firmly establishing himself along the way to where he is now. So whatever they might say today, we will listen but we have to be open minded. Each an every one of them failed us. They can never undo their past. The beans they are spilling is too bitter to swallow and has to come out voluntarily or under duress.Gambians will have the last laugh. Justice will prevail. Let them say and write pointing fingers to each other for their various deeds. History will judge their action as oposed to their words today.

It appears that by responding to questions, Sam Sarr is exposing himself to further challenges.

hi karamba , i said it ,sarr is not all gold. he was used by the witch .what they all get wrong is yahya is not as stupid as they think .for a ruler to continue rulling without credible challenger he most eliminate most eligible candidates ,and believe me many has been damage as a result of the tiltle of the position . any gambian worth the salt shouldn't associate himself with this murderer and character assasinator. one of my friend in his cabinet as already regret his decision to accept yahya's job . he take all the decision ,those secretary's of state are all yes sir bos sirs .

Santanfara,

What Jammeh plays is keeping a population hungry so that all empty mouths turn towards him. he puts in little food, they have the energy to sing for him. It is that culture needing to break. Salmina, you mentioned education. In sharp contrast we have educated fools too. That is more serious than normal fools. It is serious because much is expected from those society counts on as educated. Because they lack the salt, they remain unproductive. In extreme cases, they play counter-productive.

Salimina those educated people working under Jammeh regime can be categorize as INTELLECTUAL PROSTITUTES. They may have book knowledge but lack the realor broader knowledge. Example are Sidat Jobe, Dominic Mendy, B B Darboe, E K Sarr, Bolong Sonko, Sarja Taal, Amadou Sanneh, Sheriff Dibba etc were easily fool because of the position.

Indeed Ebra, there are lots of fools out there. But who is the biggest fool? As the saying in Mandinka goes, " you cannot insult the entire village and claim to exclude the Head "Alkalo." Yaya Jammeh is the number one fool.

Equally never think i got you wrong, but there were sincere Gambians who had a misfortune assuming they are being loyal and faithful to The Gambia while in actual fact they were used, abused and ripped off their dignity by Yaya.

Frankly, the challenge to all sober Gambians now is to understand and apply the essence of good moral if you are already in or need to pick up a position in the country under present Government. The fact is, in objective sense, not everyone can just work away from the country just to avoid the regime when their knowledge and services are most needed. Sadly, the attitude of many people has been to grind every single Dalasi and benefits from their positions, this is true since the time of Jawara. However, we all have a unique personal power to sincerely stand up as a matter of principle in our various positions and endevours inorder to enable us create the strongest collective power to say no to our present or any future leader who may have the tendancy to impose dictatorship on us while we serve our country.

As individuals, lets keep our eyes open and be consious of what is going on around us. You see, this life teaches us something every day that we can use to challenge our fears, worries and uncertainty to liberate ourselves and that of our nation in a peaceful and progressive manner. Of cause, as citizens and friends of The Gambia, we need to accept few individual sacrifies along the way. All it takes is true and serious commitment from each of us.

Peace & love to you all!

Karl

Karl,

What happens is interesting. Jammeh and all those behind him call on genuine citizens to join hands in the name of development and patriotism. Once onbaord, Jammeh dips his big fingers into everything. You end up with people claiming titles without authority. Jammeh not having the required competence ends up meddling with everyone's business. The result is one big failure. It is in that regard everyone needs holding up until Jammeh properly schooled for responsibility. Knowing that he can tap funds in the name GOVERNMENT, it makes no difference to Jammeh even when nothing works. His only interest is getting rich even at the price of collecting filthy money. This is a hard fact of life in and about Gambia.

Karamba,

your point sound obvious. But in my opinion we meant the same thing here. But how can we all "hold up until Jammeh properly schooled for responsibility" How long will that be? Even our efforts in this forum is part of that game plan to school this man and everyone of us. If we all hold back then we are sabotaging our very future. Because this will just keep our society in the hands of incompetent people like Jammeh and the team forever. The result of that will be even more failure for generations to come. This is what we need to think about at the moment. Am sure we're all aspiring for a better tomorrow for The Gambia and her citizens. No doubt, Jammeh has and is still confronting us all with a bewildering array of problems, including as you rightly mentioned dipping his big fingers into everything. Our collective challenge should be individual honesty and integrity as we take up our responsibilities as citizens. Gradually the sun will start shining and we will be triumphant sooner rather than later.

Karl,

To the extent where we settle on schooling each other for serving Gambia in better days, I totally agree with you. When the lessons are directed on Jammeh, you will be disappointed he's got no will to heed the simplest advice. Let us be frank and fair with each other. Jammeh has a completely different ambition for Gambia. His full aim is to engage the state machinery as a MEANS to amassing private wealth. If that aimed is fulfilled (which many now think it does), the rest is up to Gambians. Yes, there is always this word SABOTAGE. In the eyes of Jammeh, anyone who thinks about not supporting him is a saboteur. But as we now stand, it is Jammeh himself playing the big hand of sabotage. He is not reasoning with rest of the people, and that is enough to be as symptom of greater failure for him. Just about few weeks ago, lot of good comments landed on the score board of magistrate Assan Martin. Last week, a red card landed in his mail box sending him packing. There may be reasons unknown. For now, it is a fair guess to assume some bad hands play behind the scene. Just an example.
