Santafara stop talking rubbish I am not a Gambian citizen I am a British citizen by birth. Don't be so narrow minded to think it's only citizens who have a right to discuss about their countries. Laughing and joking about the pain of the Gambian people what a load of BS really Santafara those immature statements are really too much verbal diahorrea coming from a so called mature man! After all when does three or four men represent the views of an entire populace. What inflated ego's you have to think you can speak for an entire populace and actually believe that they all agree with your point of view after all that's what debating is discussing divergent points of views! You are right that having children is not necessarily a mark of maturity however raising them nuturing and educating them is. You cry about Jammeh being a dictator however your words express your intolerance of opposing opinions, as far as I am aware this website is called Bantaba in Cyberspace and not Santafara in Cyberspace. Unless you can control the cyber activity of ICT users what gives you the right to dictate what they can and cannot read?

Dear Brother Santanfara,
You have summed it up. It is hard to believe that a person signing as Sister Omega is a woman at all. We all know that women are best associated with positive passion and personal sympathy. It is amazing that a women rejoices over the brutal conduct of a selfish president who kills some citizens and mercilessly deprives the rest of decent squared meals and simple momemt of peace. Is this Sister Omega whose signature is PEACE rejoicing over the hardship of helpless Gambians under the iron grips of a senseless tyrant? I have never been this surprised in discovering how angel faces could bear devil hearts. So Sister, you are happy that Jammeh is making Gambians suffer? Brother Santanfara, in much the same way as forces elsewhere will not salvage Gambians, it is risky to bank hope on those who don't share our common plight. Keep laughing Sister Omega. In no way will you succeed angering to conquer the spirit of positive and progressive Gambians. |

Jammeh has built wells in the remotest areas, built schools so children no longer have to walk miles to their nearest one, supported women in their gardens' in the rural areas, given them access to electricity and telephone lines everywhere, built highways on both sides of the river, and has encouraged cultural development in the Arts. Those benefactors of these developments are the ones who rise early in the morning to go out to vote. So let me pose this question; how many of you Guys have voted whilst you were living the Gambia? Because most Gambian young men have no interest in voting in elections but want to get to Europe by any means necessary. When they have access to the internet they decide to post in outdated views to discredit the President. But when they return they see how many developments have taken place in their absence this in turn makes them have to rethink their strategy because those who they thought were left way behind, are now excelling further in cases than they are themselves because of the progressive development which are currently underway. Even Jawara himself was surprised at the amount of developmen,t which had taken place whilst he was in exile and reconciled with Jammeh. So Karamba and Santafara when was the last time you visited Gambia be honest now and don't lie?

Brother Santanfara,
Have no fear for all the Jammeh accomplishes who think they are able to extend their killer tentacles around the globe. Coming back to this mind of a person Sister Omega pointing to those prefabricted structures imposed as development. Are you lowering us to the stone age? In Gambia, we have designers, engineers, philosophers, intellectuals, technology experts only to name a few in the pool of knowledge and ability that is there to turn Gambia into what it deserves in 21st century. In the narrow skull of Jammeh, building cement houses to replace tatched mud houses in Kanilai is development. To Jammeh, paving a tarred road linking Kanilai and better parts of Gambia is still development. Putting up structures is not what we are about. Omega, get it clear that you are not dealing with empty skulls. This is not about you being British or Jamaican. What do you call cats and dogs that enjoy every legal protection in Britain. Are German dogs and cats not born in Germany? Are you familiar with the concept of SPATIAL RELATIONS AND NATURAL SELECTION. Read on. For benefit of the rest, all objects in this universe (including humans) are set at some location in relation to other objects within space and time. When a person or animal is born in this world it would have happened that the natural parent is set on a particular location on mother earth. So being British by birth or other means is not material to this platform. Objects (including humans and even furniture) move about to locations of preferred place on mother earth.
That apart. Anna you wondered if this is becoming personal. No. Or could it be seen personal? When individuals take on collective role, they invariably mortgage their privacy. When Jammeh staged a coup in July 1994, he inevitably exposed his private life. Nobody invited Jammeh to take arms for our rescue. There was already a track record for civilised democracy in Gambia. What hurried Jammeh to jump the decent orderly queue. If Sister Omega decides to bring in her personal record of achievement and status in the debate, though that is quite irrelevant but she is still free to do so. What she cannot do is to drag the privacy of others into where it does not belong. When we cut and paste on Jammeh's thick skin, that is because he occupies a public position sustained by our collective resources. Out today, we will continue to deal with anybody else who chooses to set foot where Jammeh dared. Killing citizens and stealing our resources is no small crime. Jammeh could not commit that crime and rest in peace even after he is dead. Much as Jammeh boasts of acquiring wealth that he will be using in the supermarkets of hell when he dies, here on earth, we will chase him like a common daylight thief is pursued in public marketplaces. If that is what anybody calls unpatriotic, there it goes. |

karamba try to keep things in context. Santafara insinuated that I was being dishonest about being a Gambian citizen. I quote directly from him quote: some one who cannot even admit her citizenship of the gambia should not be taken seriously.
I replied "I am a British citizen by birth." That is the reality.
Karamba as for your cooments on my person they only contribute to Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. I gather from you silence on the question I put to you in my last posting that you've been away from Gambia from sometime and whilst there you didn't vote.
Santafara as for the Fatou Jaw Manneh case this is presently before the courts. Let's hope her case doesn't drag on too long with unnecessary adjournments and she receives a fair trail.

| No, no, lady of the moon and stars, this is not about YOUR PERSON. It is not so much about Jammeh either. We are dealing with issues of a country; Gambia. By the fact of matters, Jammeh happens to get stuck on resources of Gambia and waving his lethal weapons ready to kill and maim. He invites his flesh and blood in the affairs of Gambia. He is only important because of his criminal dealings adversely affecting Gambia. It is not fair for anyone to attack you Sister Omega by virtue of your person. When you stand there to defend Jammeh who is looting and killing us, along with him, you will be addressed. That does not make you, me, Jammeh or anyone for that as important as Gambia, the super entity we call Home. No, no Sister of the sea and clouds, not you by person!! |
