China was on the east coast of africa and Arabia well before Europe ever thought of going out. Well before Dagama sailed out under the auspices of Prince Henry.

Its recorded that when a new chinese emperor took over, he burnt all the 300 ships china had and to this day, no one knows why. It marked the beginning of China's policy of internal confinement. China ruled the waves before anyone ever did.

Njuks

Ngaling Sonko, commonly called BARRLA BANG NA who was a general, emptied the whole gun powder of Kaabu and torched it in flames.
BARRLA BANG NA means the one who empties a barrel of gun powder during eaxch war he led.

The Nyanchos dont run and they dont cut corners. The Fula, with this act were scarred for life and left the empire in fear of the people of Kaabu. To this day, the Fulani never managed to call a place their own. Atleast Kaabu is still habited by the same people before the war.

KONDS, BARRLA BANG NA was becos he was a glutton who after eating he was reported to have drank a barrel of water. Abdoulie Sonko of the infamous Farrafenni rebel attack is one of his namesakes.

The Kabunka's will never forget wat the Fulas taught them thus FULA KILING MU FULA FULAH LETTI. Becos of the Fula bravery and fearsome nature in war Kabunka never trust a Fula. The defeat Jankey Wally and his troops suffered are still refresh in their minds.

No. He was a fearless General. Nyanchos are brave people and Futa has still not recovered. I can go to Kaabu today but not to Futa. Futa only exist in the mind. Thats why the Fulani are scattered all over west Africa with no place to call home.

Point of correction! FULLADU spans from The Gambia, via Senegal Oriental via Guinea Bissau to Guinea Conakry. The FUTA TORO is Northern Senegal into Mauritania via Rosso, Futa Jallon is in Guinea Conakry. Both FUTAs are still alive and kicking. Its Kaabu that is only a mirage

Do you know that its only in Upper Fulladu that you have a fula chief perhaps with Nianija. It’s just a name. Kaabunkas are still in control of Kaabu all the way to Guinea Bissau.

It’s still on government publications but not Futa. Since the end of the war, seven types of Fulas emerged to disguise themselves from the people of Kaabu. Like the Fulas themselves say: MBURU FOFF KO FORINGE. (All breads are made of flour). Whether they call themselves JENGELS OR HABOBEH OR TUCULOR or any anything for that matter, they are still Fulani. We know about that.

calm down kondo. i have both fula and kabu connections ,that is why i choose santanfara . do you know what is call santan and what fara means ? you are right on the issue that fulas are very diverse to the extend that others call some not pure fulas. fulani is also in most parts of africa in different dilects. but be careful they are dangerous. seriene bogal will hunt you down,,, happy eid.

Potatoes were introduced in Europe by Spanish conquerors who brought them from Peru. The Irish, in turn took them to North America. That is why they sometimes are called Irish potatoes. Or so I have heard.

They could not be called Irish Potatoes if it was originally from Peru.

Kondorong, there is no contradiction.
According to modern DNA-analysis potato has it´s origin i Peru where it has been cultivated for 7000 years.
”Irish potatoes” is just a saying, not a scientific name.

Thanks to all who answered my previous question. Here are some more:

Is it true that trunks of old Baobab trees were used as burial grounds in former days? If so, what does it say about the status of a person buried in a tree?

How old can a Baobab tree become?

A couple of years ago I read an article about an old man living in a Baobab tree nearby Barra. He never let visitors. Is he still living there?
