Hi Jambo, England 3 Paraquay 1 / Argentina 2 Ivory Coast 2

I must admit to having a large bet on Ivory Coast @ 40/1 to REACH the final.
If they make it, then I will be in The Gambia end of July.

Togo coach Otto Pfister has quit due to pay dispute. He has left Germany for Switzerland. (As if that wasn’t calculated?) Let’s give best wishes to T & T that they give good performance in their first World Cup without him.

Greetings, the match I have enjoyed most Ghana/Italy.
I still go with Ivory Coast to REACH the final - but haven’t the African countries given it their all? South Korea have the fastest legs, which is a surprise because they are short. Who will be the player to show their outstanding skills in this World Cup and have their life changed by being snapped up by one of the larger clubs?

I have some crutches here that I am thinking of sending out to the England players! & to Sven Eriksson - Play Station/Football Manager,
regards, sab.

Sport can reach out to people in a way which politians can't/Mandela

It is fantastic to see African countries on the world stage. When you think how hard they will have worked to get there. I thought Ghana were great!

Buy the way does anyone have any idea how much a DECENT pair of football boots costs in Gambia? I have had a request from a friend who is a very good left back. I have watched the team play. They are the hotel side and they have SO much talent. The english scouts should be in Gambia........ find the next Tierey........

Bet they would give a good footballer a visa no problem!!!!

bev you cannot buy good football boots in gambia, buy in uk and take them out. I have seen them in Serrunkunda market for 1200 dls. Are you able to send him a pair. The one thing they do need is shin pads, cost about £6.00 in sports shops.
There were a few scouts but the red tape to bring someone here is impossible. What would be better would be a european style football camp in gambia.
Calling all football coaches.

Greetings Jambo, Is that England to win with the crutches or without?

T & T to win 2-1
Crouch will have someone the same size to contend with and will be lucky not to get a red card or give a penalty away with those flying arms.

I would like to have seen Shaun Wright Phillips & Jermain Defoe at least getting to the World Cup.
