Thanks Momodou. I watched the first half of the match but some unexpected urgency litterally dragged me away from the screen just at the break. The boys were a joy to watch durring the first half, dominating posssession, reducing Namibia to about three shots on goal and scoring three beautiful goals. My only concern was the other numerous chance they have squandered in front of goal. I hope it does not come back to haunt them as goal difference does very much count in this competition. We could have been six to seven goals up in the first alone. I was particularly impressed with overlapping interchange between Azziz Corr Nyang and Kebba Ceesay on the right flanks as well as the two strikers upfront. It seems like Ous Jallow had finally found his long lost striking partner Modou Ceesay(Zico), my favorite Gambian player and their combination was rewarded with a goal each. Sainey Nyassi also did an excellent job on the left flank as does the midfield pair of Mustapha Jarju and Tijan Jaiteh as they scupper most of the Namibian attack with brilliant defending at the heart of midfield as well as initiating attacks scorpion attacks. How did they lost all the beutiful work in the second half? Damn, i was expecting a record Scorpion score-line atleast. That said i will take three point any day. I thoroughly enjoyed the first half except for the first fifteen minutes of awful commentary before Malick Jones took over.
