Thanks Shaka - it's halftime & the viewing much appreciated.
Lets hope we see two goals at least go in & Mexico remain with their one!

Mexico 1-0 Gambia. The boys had a brilliant opening minutes but lost control to the Mexicans in better parts of the first half. Ous Jallow was particularly live in the first few minutes. A sloppy back pass by Omar Jawo in defence on a water-logged pitch resulted in the lone goal of the half. Pa Dembo the pulled off a string of saves before Ous Jallow sqaundered the Gmabia's best chance towards the end of the half. He took too much time to make a decision in a one-on-one with the mexican keeeper before the mexican defense recovered to clear their line.
Your prayers were not answered Sab. It was a humiliating 5-1 defeat in the end. There is a reason they are going to the World Cup while we are not, i guess. There was a clear difference in qaulity and class. That said we could have defended a lot better as well as take the few chances we have in front of goal. It seems like Ous Jallow needs ten chances to score a goal as usual while Njogu Demba is preoccupied with fancy football for skills he never had. Abdou Jammeh was clueless in central defence while his defensive partner Omar Jawo could not recover from the horror back pass that lead to the first Mexican goal. The only two class acts were Pa Dembo and Pa Saikou Kujabi. Pa Dembo single handedly saved us from a possible ten goal rout or more with his superman feats. The midfield was so lacking in creativity and starved the attackers with any quality passes. Aziz Corr-Nyang was sorely missed in that department. It is about bloody time coach Put solve his personal problems with our most gifted player. You cannot in invite professional players in non-fifa calender dates and then penalise them if their clubs refuse them permission to play. That said the team is still a young side with a lot to learn and there is a lot of emerging talents playing in professional leagues across the globe. Ous Jallow and Njogu Demba are no longer automatic first choice strikers. There are better stikers in Europe who had a better season than them. Ebrima Sawanneh scored a tone of goals in the Belgian league and could play upfront. Then there is Dawda Bah and others.
Dont think they are ready to take on Drogba or Fabregas yet, maybe me! but I wish them great careers and look forward to watching them again soon.
Thanks for the link - I had no problems at all.

Indeed Momodou. Those two hardly played for their clubs last season and when they do they only ever score the rare goal. Ous scored five league goals for his club last season while we can only count four for Njogu.
