Haha!! The zumzum man is back. Five months in The Gambia trying to get the Sheikh's attention? I hope you got a better deal than Sister O. She only got a grande boubou and Turk is getting an ORG in July. A bird whispered to me that you came back with a huge plastic carrier bag(the Sheikh's idea of a gift bag) full of campaign funds for diaspora politics. Ma nyaka sama ndey ngewel'a nekh!!! I have good news for you. I am voting for the Sheikh in 2011, so let's talk money before i change my mind. ALSAMADEH!!! |

Mo, say it again, I also just came from the beautiful Gambia 3days ago and the Jammeh critics must be sorry for them selves. Can you imagin one of the best quality rice in the world is (Thai jasmine rice AAA) is availabe in the gambia at affordable prices (20kg@340dalasis) Now the people can eat real rice and not the donkey rice we all grew up in. Jammeh is feeding the people and thats what really counts. I hope bros karamba and co can go and see for them selves.
Breadman the Thai Jasmine is still beyond the reach of the average man. The rice they eat is not even fit for horses. It is full of pebbles, tiny stones, other inedible material and lacks flavour. You risk damaging your teeth eating that stuff. You also forget to mention the 'sleeping cooking oil'(one of the sources of the rapid rise in heart diseases in the Gambia) and the filtered well water sold for D40 a litre bottle. The cheapest source of bottled water in the Gambia. Add this to the cost of fish and meat and the Sheikh is doing a wonderful job indeed. Starving the people. It is easy to praise the Sheikh when you are shopping from a supermarket. The Thai Jasmine is not sold in the local shops and you know that. |

Seeing is believing and Shaka needs to go see the giant strides towards the attainment of self sufficiency. We have an option of both cheap and jasmine rice including the Nyari rice ,In any capitalistic state your pockets determine what you eat. The rice shaka is talking about is cheap with plenty of pebbles and stone ,I once joked that it was added to make the bags weigh . The fact of the matter is that we are not self sufficient in terms of growing our own food for consumption and all these products are imported .As a matter of fact there is no evidence stating that it is a dangerous product ,It's not as great as "Mallo Sosseh" etc but the average Gambian loves cheap and it is readily available . If we as Gambians woke up one day with the realization that our staple foods need to be foods we can grow and not just "grow" but be able to sustain the demand ,just a simple change of diet can go a long way, Things have changed though since Gambia can boast of being an emerging rice producer in West Africa now adays. Shaka knows better he is just playing with your emotions, Jammeh is a true Farmer and his efforts are being complemented nation wide by true sons of the Nation this much I can attest to..........................................Peace quote: Originally posted by bread man

Shaka you should know that the Sheikh is a Khalifa my brother, He cannot be easily penetrated, It requires solid reasons why you would wanna meet him to even have a chance of seeing him and that is if you even get to see him. It's not the State house of old times. "Bilaye walai talaye " he didnt give me any cash " Herney Koppar" ,The man doesn't even know I exist ,If sister Omega got a Grand bobou good for her, it's well deserved am pretty sure she looks fabulous in it. We do this Pro Bono, I doubt it's for the fame and fortune. Your little bird is a tad bit drunk, you know "cacho cacho"s when drunk sing a lot of unfounded songs .....................................................Peace quote: Originally posted by shaka

No man, I'm serious. We missed you for real. I have always asked to know your whereabout during your absence. I was particularly worried because your disappearance coincided with a time of great damage by what Freedom newspaper (you know that's my Bible) called "Hurricane Kanilai". You know the Chairman was turning against all of his friends and supporters, but I thought you might have been a replacement for Dr. Bah at the President's Office. No I didn't hear your name, so I got more worried, then Dida Halake suggested I checked with Mile II's VIP lounge... No, we like you Moe, the same way I like my UDP friend Nyarikangbanna- an ultra-opposition always true to dogma. I particularly like the alternative opinions you bring to the debate, and I find you and Shaka's exchanges very funny all the time: "Ma nyaka sama ndey ngewel'a nekh!!!; "Mallo Sosseh"; "Zumzum man". Very funny! Hey did you bring me a copy of "Kairaba"? I haven't received mine yet. I heard Jammeh, your boss paid for all of us on Bantaba, but if you don't have the book I will take the "zumzum"... |

That is exactly what is happening, you mustn't joke about it. The Sheikh and his government are colluding with criminal Arab and Persian crime syndicates to poison the masses unawares. They will do anything to reap the taxes and sweatners paid by these criminal outfits even if that means allowing them to bring in cheap toxin laden foodstuff to feed the hungry poor. The Gambia debt burden is so high that interest on these debt can only be seviced by over-taxation of goods and services, hence the skyrocketing surge in prices of comodities including basic necessities. It is so bad that domestic borrowing by government is nearly equalling foreign liabilities. The goverment is so desperate for money that it is spuring on criminal elements to defraud and poison the masses. Don't be at all surprised that pebbles, stones and other inedible debris was dekiberately added to already stale rice by the criminal sydicates to "increase the weight" and volume. They are heartless b**tards. Remember, durring the early days of the July 22 coup d'etat, similar consignments of bad rice and other foodstuff were sent back to their destination of origin and never allowed to dock on Gambian soil because of poor quality. Some of them eventually found their way in Guinea Bissau and other neighbouring countries. Guess what? The quality then was even better than what we had now. Since they are done with winning the hearts of the masses and instead had drilled fear in those poor hearts, they don't give a hoot anymore. And to add to the terrible predicament of the masses, they are also selling unrefined or very poorly refined cooking oil. Go to the Fula man's shop and you will get the shock of your life with what they have to sell for cooking oil. The sh*t solidifies into gee right before your eyes and needs to be warmed up regulary to keep it in a liquid state. Just like palm oil. And they say it is ALSAMADEH(made in the Gambia). You cannot be serious when you said that there is no evidence that there is a problem with these poisonous commmodities. As a Semester if you live on that rice for a week, you will suffer the nutritional version of AIDS and that is no lie. Have you seen the state of some of the folks. They are unrecognisable even though you grew up with them. The Sheikh is a farmer my arse. Where is his plenty farm produces in the midst of awful hunger? They all end up being doled out to sychopants to curry votes and very recently, to an already bloated Serign si in Touba. The sheikh cannot even feed the village of Kerr Mandombai for six months if their lives depend on it. Don't even ask me where that place is. |

You think the Chairman will ever finish reading the book soon; it's a pretty sizeable book.Hey Moe, we do not want another coup in the GPU-USA, okay. DBaldeh is in charge now, after Mathew Jallow's bloodless coup last year(thank goodness!). We are back to democracy... |
