Do you know there are electronic books in mandinka, pular and wolof for dowloading on this site:

http://www.aiys.org/aodl/public/access/alma_ebooks/index.php

Donīt ask what subjects are, the only title I understand is "Sunjata".

When I got divorced I thought by myself : free at last. Nobody to rule my life anymore; no commands, no do's and don'ts. But see what happens here. I get some commands from an english woman on a Gambian forum..

Seriously now, I was at the office this morning. We close the offices at 13.00 and in the afternoon I did some volunteer work (composting..)

Greetz, c u

Oh Darn! Too bad I couldn't find some way to train Jaws (my screen reader) to read Mandinka / Wolof. It treats Mandinka and Wolof as either a bunch of ????? like it treats Arabic, or it just reads in a bunch of gobledygook! It's quite depressing! Because the best way for me to learn is to read and listen at the same time. At least when I'm trying to learn the Quran, I can get transliterated Arabic letters. So is there any way I can get a hold a transliterated Mandinka / Wolof? It's too bad I couldn't get someone to give me email lessons. Hmmm...
