I think it is very fitting to what the wollofs would call "Dawnah yaram." Here is a 7-month old baby, so innocent of whatever sin in life, but apparently a victim of Jammeh's terror. I hope people all over will do something about this child...even if not for the mother's sake. If you are father or mother, close your eyes for a moment and imaginarly put your child in the shoes of this child...think deeply! think again! Share your true feelings as time permits you. If you are like me, your eyes must be furiously watering tears with reddened eyes. Please share this story with your friends, relatives and everyone else. There might be someone who can rescue this child, ofcourse not forgetting God Almighty -the Doer of whatever He wills. I pray that God Almighty comes to the help of this innocent child.

| Which one of you cyber fools wrote this article ,Chinese shoes or Sareh Gainako, i Know chinese shoes likes to call himself Solo the Banjul correspondent but all i have to say is, it's a shame coming from someone with a degree like your humble self chinese shoes. Demba Baldeh what school did you really graduate from .I just wanna know simply because it's really screwed up to know people like your self involved in public relations on a daily basis should know better, you know exactly what i mean . | I thought the story on the point newspaper said she was married. Where is the Husband? He must be a hell of a chump if he lets his child go to foster care while his wife is incaserated, albeit, on dubious charges in a Kangaroo court. |

My point exactly Mansa ,what they are saying is having a child and a wife is reason to commit a felony, I don't think so. There is nothing dubious about the charges and the judgement in the case is consistent with punishment for the said crime ,which is amply evident. The issue is it does tend to be unconstitutional and contradicts freedom of speech yet it is a law passed by the people. Even in the United states of America The Federalists under President John Adams aggressively used the sedition laws against their rivals , a lot of people were jailed including Thomas Jefferson's own brother and this included journalists and newspaper editors.
It was not until Thomas Jefferson became president that they were all pardoned and you can see the reason why......................................Peace quote:
