keep on rowing your bouat
lots of hungry belly pickney they a shore, millions of
them

living in a bumbo hut
in a little hole sea-port town
three kids on the floor
and another one to come make four

day by day i man step it
along the sea shore
hail brother John, have you got any wenchman
yes brother Peter, wenchman, sprat and mackaba

we've got to reach on higher grounds

Simon, Peter, James and John come a shore
to feed the hungry belly ones

Bro Kitabul Arer,

Kaani is right it looks like a melodious song, at the same time a meaningful poem. If the fisherman is a family person like you expressed, he must keep rowing his boat to suffice for his family. It is typical of a traditional way of life; where in an extended family, the breadwinner must work tiredlessly non-stop to take care of the family. To me, the beauty in your poem is the "message" it carries together with the choice of words.

I like the poem.
