Coming to you big bosses...and i actually wrote one good one, while closing my eyes in memento of those good days, like professor Q. Cummings used to say, "The good old days when men were men and women what you could make of them." I just have to edit it, and suite the vocabulary to the standard of the kids...inshallahu with all the busy schedules at hand, together with the attack on our freedom and liberty at home, i too stand to be heard. I think, unfoldings are an eye-opener for all and sundry. Even the little ants can gather sand particles to make ant-hills. I seriously wonder what has become of humans, alleged to have had five common senses. Once we solve the puzzle of the ants, then hopefully we can emulate quick....and learn...and adjust....and act.
Kind regards D... |

Ha ha Dalton , I had to laugh when you alluded to ants as in "ant attack" , a hugely pertinent aside in our current situation. You know what ; people shall always resist suppression even in silence as is evident in some acts or lack of them in our country take voter apathy for instance , some may consider that as bad but it is an activity that goes to show something or the other . By not voting they are trying to say something and that can only be known if they say what it is openly , which they simply do not do , leaving it all to conjecture. This is my point of view. I know that writing these makes some people go mad and become extremely incensed but why should that bother me , it is my right so I exercise it to the full. I also accept that by making others angry they can attack me as they deem fit which in all fairness is acceptable if not to every one else but to me. Let us keep fighting for our goals and surmounting the obstacles laid in front of us , no struggle is easy and no victory comes cheap. That ;Santa, was a very good pointer for me and I trust the silent ones too are keeping records of what is happening as even if it is only in their minds , this should be a lesson for us all and for future reference too. We used to have our elders tell us about their norms and values which in essence are meant to guide us in life , this too should be remembered so that our offspring can be guided to avoid falling into the trap that we fallen into. |

Hi kaani, my good brother and friend Mowdo Yero Dalton hasn't fail us with his story. He has delivered beyond expectation. I hope you join me in thanking him and praying that the good inspirational and cultural mind that influences him stay strong and healthy.
I will do an except of the story with the consent of yero on Gaianko and allgambian God willing. It is the typical story we use to hear as kids in primary school. let the culture lives on. I am in complete support of communities living their cultures and traditions. we cannot have a monolithic society, not on any grounds. |

Uncle Suntou,
No, no...not at should a 'thankyou' be said to me, because for one, we are all here together and doing it together. Instead, this is a complement for you, for your untiring efforts to help these kids from Coventry (UK) know their life directions by knowing about their cultural heritage. Remember it is often said, "If you don't know where you are coming from, you will not know where you are going."
As for bro. Kaani; he better just keep the poetry puffs and jokes breezing because life without humor is a problem.
any way, now that you gave me the opening, if you ever need any more of these stories/humors, i am readily available as time favors me. I enjoy writing them.
thanks, D... |
