Rumours say that the tourist season 2008/2009 was the last for Cap Skirring/Senegal, and that Air Senegal already stopped its flights to the Cape.
It is said that the Senegalese gouvernement declared they want to put an end to the 'brothel Cap Skirring', but that the real reason why Cap Skirring should cease to exist as a tourist destination is the offshore oil production which probably will start soon.
Does anybody know anything about these rumours?
