OK, my try :

Proverbially, giving a self-definition
To all his doings
Amidst the fact that
None makes sense to his groin
The usefulness of which
Would have earned him a monarchy

I think, what Ms Saidy wants to say is this: her man is using big words for the actions he is undertaking and all the time he is forgetting to play the part of the male lover, which he could do so well if he would listen to what his body (groin) is telling him .

Nay, the multitude of it
Already endangered us all
Leaving the community
"Intellectually Sterile.''
Many balls castrated,
Eve escaped into thin air

(very difficult part) Perhaps this is what it means: All these important actions - undertaken abroad, the brain drain - have endangered the community (The Gambia?), someone wants her to believe that now the country is 'intellectually sterile', the man (or men) who want her to believe that have in the meantime forgotten to satisfy her/their women so what can a woman do but make herself invisible as a lover (all big words but no action, she's left by herself)

What will it take?
A zillion bartholin's gland
Clone with superman's breath
To curtail the vas deferens???

So, what's to be done? Perhaps she can make a pact with Superman, to direct all her 'signals' swiftly, so that the 'vas deferens' do their jobs and satisfy her again ?

Since ego-centrism has
Metamorphosized the neurons
Of the disperse elites.

The woman thinks this is necessary, she has to come up with a trick, since all these intelligent and educated male Gambians (one of whom her own lover?) who are finding themselves all over the world are now having a hard time interpreting the impulses from 'outside', wrapped up as they are in their own self-importance. They forget to be lovers........

Well, i tried. Just my guess from a woman's point of view. i could have explained it better in Dutch, but then (almost) none of you could have made head or tails of (or is it 'from') it.

Haha T1020, did you enjoy your tea with the ..whatever..? Sorry, i don't like tea, that is why i couldn't join you, even though the rest sounded all right

T1020, wasn't it you who used to remind us (more than once) that 'men came from Mars and women came from Venus', so here's another illustration of that 'fact' !

Thanks Kay, but now that i read it again it seems a bit weak .Perhaps it was too late and i had a long, hard day at work. I truly hope Dalton can talk Ms Saidy into giving us a simpler explanation (so that even T1020's neurons can come back to normal ).

Hi Sis. Anna,

As promised, I was going to fetch you the answer. It is true Bro Kay cannot be defeated in his own area -science. Here is what Aisha said, and you guys enjoy. Aisha is a feminish. Without doubt, I sensed that from her poetry long time ago. We go with Kay's crown then...

Regards,
D...

second attempt of
dissecting, what a surg!!! You somehow saw it in a broader sense but
every pointer
that you made was specific to the theme; anna & toubab, i love them sisters..
thanks to their comments i would never have been able to see such futility in
men...well its called poetic license but "fortunately" i am single and
inexperience...lol!!!... so i have learned something from her "as a woman". In
wholesome kay is right ABOUT IT ALL !!! Tell them i need some literature lessons
from all them/individually.

am humbled
aisha.

Thanks Anna, thanks Dalton and thanks Aisha the author. I am so very humbled by the 96%. I would have been happy with 50% since this is more of speculation than an exact science. Actually even professional critics disagree on meaning and interpretation. I am sure there could be thousand different ways to interpret any given artistic work of this nature. It is often vey helpful if you have good knowledge about the author's background, experiences and philosophy of life since writers do not write in a vacuum, they often write in the context of their experiences of the world they live in.
Furthermore, the critic's own perceptions adds to the complexities of meaning and interpretation.
Thanks everyone for joining the discussion, and we thank Aisha for the brilliant piece.

All this while, I sat scratching my poor hairy head for an answer to the riddle I mean poem, so Kayjatta felicitations for being a shrewd interpreter, once more confirming your status on this forum. That does not mean no claps for Anna whose attempt was more much more than I can say for myself being an absentee, so to you I say bravo bravo with my hat flying into the skies for you. Good poetic work from sister Aisha again brother Dalton say to her this much I surely love them all and thanks a million for bringing it on.
