While others defends homosexuals rights, they should also respect muslims. Islamic cemetary is not a 'public' place. It is not a state place. It is religious place. Government or non-muslims have no right to dictate their secular agenda. It is Islamic cemetary. It is not christian cemetary or jewish. It is not a secular institution. It is Islamic. Let me repeat. IT IS ISLAMIC. Secular people do not have right to dictate their ideologies on them. You do not have right to tell muslims if homosexual can go to ISLAMIC cemetary. You have right to defend homosexuals but you have no right to tell us how an religious community to follow their rituals. What is next? Are you going to tell us how to pray next? Instead of Mecca should we face up to Pyramids?
???????????????????????
Turk
What is going on here?? I do not accept that disinterring a dead body and throwing it in the sad parents' backyard is a ritual by any kind of religious community. I'm sure you'll have to admit that it is not. Do not put words in my mouth! Nowhere in my postings have you read or will you ever read that i would like Muslims to change their religious rituals. Why should i? It is not my business, after all. Just as much as i do not expect anybody to tell me how to live my life, i will not tell you how to live yours.
This topic is NOT about religion, it is about the sad fact that some people are unwilling and/or unable to accept homosexuality for what it is: the fate of approximately every one out of ten people in any kind of community. The river is too wide here, we cannot build a bridge and meet in the middle. So be it...but noone will ever make me give up to defend the rights of any homosexual human being. You can attack me on that if you wish but be careful Turk, do not accuse me of having in mind to tell you or any other Muslim how to pray because, to tell you the truth, i am very very careful in how i deal with people in that respect. May i remind you that i live with a Muslim?
Let me tell you this: the way that i deal with my Muslim fellowmen and women is infinitely more respectful than the way some Muslims deal with their fellow human beings who happen to be homosexuals.

throwing the dead body is not part of islamic ritual. it is not appropriate. i feel sorry for the person. that is why my proposal makes sense. as homosexuals are not muslim, their place should be in a secular cemetary.
muslims do not accept homosexuality because they are ordered not to accept it from allah. homosexuality is a choice, it is a learnt behaviour and they do not have to be willing to accept.

No, turk, you muslims should pray face to Wall Street, like all good capitalists in this world do (or did they stop it after the bank crash?)!
But seriously: Of course the muslim community in Senegal has the right to decide who is buried in their cemetary. But if they refuse a muslim burial to a homosexual, they should prepare to be regarded by others as not much different to the narrow-minded Christian churches. E.g. from the Catholic Church we know that they refused Christian burials to executed murderers, to suicides, and to 'ignoble' persons. A famous victim of this narrow-mindedness and cruelty was the French actress Adrienne Lecouvreur (1692–1730). |

I doubt if any community has the right to disinter anyones body or even get to decide who gets buried in what graves. During the times of the prophets ,there was a thief and a drunk who loved his alcohol ,and not just that he was also engaged in sex with the dead after they were buried. Supposedly he is in Heaven regardless of what everyone thought of him.
They will all be buried around pedophiles and rapist for Islam condones it somehow or is not addressed. The people of THIES are paranoid HOMOPHOBICS. I personally think they all think about it and are just scared to be touched. . Trust me they all don't mind being buried around pedophiles ,thieves, murders etc but being buried around someone gay is an abomination, thats total nonsense.
I promise you if that was my peeps ,i will be kicking the watchmans ass for sure.
I think they are all scared of their HOMOPHOBIC TENDENCIES, may be the gay dude might FCK them after they die

That is what most muslims are doing these days anyway. Burial is islamic ritual. first we wash the dead body in the mosque. than using white clothes we wrap the dead body. later imam ask the people how we know the muslim person as we pray in the mosque. imam joins others in the cemetary to bury the dead body facing right. it is islamic ritual. it has rules. anna would be right if gay dead body would be denied hospital services or public transportation :)

It is different. You murder, or steal. It is a crime. The murderer or thief agree that is a crime. There is no dispute that is wrong. It is not denial of Allah. Murderers do not deny Allah. Typical homosexuality is a life style. Homosexuality is denying basic principle of rule of Allahu. It is a decleration for rejection of Allah. On Friday, an homosexuals imam would be saying like; (blame yourself for this example)
Imam: Dear Jamaat, Allah is the greatest. Don't miss your 5 rekat daily pray, fast during ramazan, if you can afford go to hajj, give your zakaat and shaadat for oneness of Allah and the Hazreti Mohammed being the last messenger.
Jamaat: Amin.
Imam: Today's subject is performing gusl. When I and my boy friend do each other, we always gusl before prey. Especially, during the intercourse when i recieve, it frequently bleeds, make sure beside you gusl, make sure wash your rectum before gusl and if possible apply cream before intercourse to prevent bleeding
Reading for Anna from
http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/homosexuality/ho0075.html:
quote: Anal intercourse is the sine qua non of sex for many gay men.22 Yet human physiology makes it clear that the body was not designed to accommodate this activity. The rectum is significantly different from the vagina with regard to suitability for penetration by a penis. The vagina has natural lubricants and is supported by a network of muscles. It is composed of a mucus membrane with a multi-layer stratified squamous epithelium that allows it to endure friction without damage and to resist the immunological actions caused by semen and sperm. In comparison, the anus is a delicate mechanism of small muscles that comprise an "exit-only" passage. With repeated trauma, friction and stretching, the sphincter loses its tone and its ability to maintain a tight seal. Consequently, anal intercourse leads to leakage of fecal material that can easily become chronic.
The potential for injury is exacerbated by the fact that the intestine has only a single layer of cells separating it from highly vascular tissue, that is, blood. Therefore, any organisms that are introduced into the rectum have a much easier time establishing a foothold for infection than they would in a vagina. The single layer tissue cannot withstand the friction associated with penile penetration, resulting in traumas that expose both participants to blood, organisms in feces, and a mixing of bodily fluids.
Furthermore, ejaculate has components that are immunosuppressive. In the course of ordinary reproductive physiology, this allows the sperm to evade the immune defenses of the female. Rectal insemination of rabbits has shown that sperm impaired the immune defenses of the recipient.23 Semen may have a similar impact on humans.24
The end result is that the fragility of the anus and rectum, along with the immunosuppressive effect of ejaculate, make anal-genital intercourse a most efficient manner of transmitting HIV and other infections. The list of diseases found with extraordinary frequency among male homosexual practitioners as a result of anal intercourse is alarming:
Anal Cancer Chlamydia trachomatis Cryptosporidium Giardia lamblia Herpes simplex virus Human immunodeficiency virus Human papilloma virus Isospora belli Microsporidia Gonorrhea Viral hepatitis types B & C Syphilis25
Sexual transmission of some of these diseases is so rare in the exclusively heterosexual population as to be virtually unknown. Others, while found among heterosexual and homosexual practitioners, are clearly predominated by those involved in homosexual activity. Syphilis, for example is found among heterosexual and homosexual practitioners. But in 1999, King County, Washington (Seattle), reported that 85 percent of syphilis cases were among self-identified homosexual practitioners.26 And as noted above, syphilis among homosexual men is now at epidemic levels in San Francisco.27
A 1988 CDC survey identified 21 percent of all Hepatitis B cases as being homosexually transmitted while 18 percent were heterosexually transmitted.28 Since homosexuals comprise such a small percent of the population (only 1-3 percent),29 they have a significantly higher rate of infection than heterosexuals.30
Anal intercourse also puts men at significant risk for anal cancer. Anal cancer is the result of infection with some subtypes of human papilloma virus (HPV), which are known viral carcinogens. Data as of 1989 showed the rates of anal cancer in male homosexual practitioners to be 10 times that of heterosexual males, and growing. 30 Thus, the prevalence of anal cancer among gay men is of great concern. For those with AIDS, the rates are doubled.31
Other physical problems associated with anal intercourse are:
hemorrhoids anal fissures anorectal trauma retained foreign bodies.
This was my answer your question Kayjatta.
p.s. I hope you like my sense of humour. |

Thanks Turk, great reading on a Monday morning at work! Your sense of humor is weird, to say the least .
But all these technicalities and risk factors do not matter in this discussion, i'd also rather not know about what some heterosexual people are doing in their kinky bedrooms. You know very well what is at the heart of this discussion but you like sidetracking as a strategy to make people give up. I had given up already, so no need for these ghastly figures . |

Mr. Jatta
me not an expert on islam. I am liberal secular, unlike stalinist secular. Computers? Not really. Ask me on scuba diving, salsa and tango dancing.
Anna
I was expecting you would not appreciate the connection between what i was saying and the topic.
1. Homosexuals deny the religion of Islam therefore they are not muslims. 2. Burial is islamic ritual. Non-muslims should not dictate their values on them. 3. I would agree with you discrimination against homosexuals if the discrimination occured within public services. It is fundamental principle that state/secular public can not dictate their values on religion due to seperation between state and religion.
Because of these reaons, my proposal makes both muslims and homosexuals winner.

Homosexuals cannot claim human rights & morality whilsts sex maniacs and rapists are morally condemned! They are defenseless because physically there is nothing wrong with them. They are either male (homo)or female (lesbo)but lust made them to engaged in heir own private sexual activities. Without gay activities, there won't have been sex swap, sex change and men having breasts or women paying lots of money for capital "P"!
Its not about anything to do with religion, morality and human rights but insane and sickness of human race |

This all could be avoided from the first place. 1.Where was the man living before he past, what has happening between him and his opponents? 2. They most also know, these two different cannot bury within one ground, Therefore, the advantage here is for the majority. 3.Understanding most also come from the families that this will turn to necrophilia.
Nevertheless, Homo, lisb and alike are effects just as most its type in cerebral system and can be cured. When Hypo / neuron got wrong information it then lost right navigation, so instead providing right prospective it will feed you back erroneous reflex , Through the time, you will lose in your Hippocampus system by properceptive and this is happens in the all animals limbic system that has something to do with Motivation, Instinct / sentimental /actuation… This is difficult to confirm in very early age but with adult. It can be cored in both sociological and medically. Just like changing of hormonally system.

Poor brokenhearted Pepper . As for Linda and Harry: all's well that ends well . These 'reversals' happen to people too, just as 'the other way around': people might have been living with an opposite sex partner for years, building up a family, but wondering why they are not happy in the relationship. In the end they find happiness with a samesex partner. Thanks for the video anyway, it was nice. |
