Birmingham means no harm
Brimming with confidence
Settling in a central locus
Pitched tents for lovely residents
Neighbors of the black country

Birmingham means no harm
It means joy
Where people live in peace
Reaping the fields of their labours
Respectful of each other

Birmingham means no harm
Welcoming people from all lands and climes
The Bull Ring beckons all and sundry
Come with your wares
Come and buy
This is a city of trust
For better and for worst
We shall strive as one

Birmingham means no harm
It means harmony
Of hard work and success
For the people love their peace
Jealously guarding their space
Watching out for the wayward
Intruders get nabbed
Not snitched

Welcome to Birmingham
You will come to no harm
But a welcome so warm
So long as you mean no harm
To the lovely city and people of Birmingham
Guarded as well as Buckingham
That Palace in London Town
