The most senior Muslim woman in the Met police is set to lodge a claim of race discrimination against her employers.

I wonder if she knows Mr Gaffur? maybe they can get the same barrister and split the legal fees.

No legal aid though

Now just to add fuel to the fire this now has emerged...

The lawyer at the centre of the race row engulfing Scotland Yard is a convicted fraudster, it was revealed today.

Dr Shahrokh Mireskandari, the solicitor representing Tarique Ghaffur in his multimillion pound claim against the Met Commissioner Sir Ian Blair, was convicted of a telemarketing scam in California in 1991.
