Just stumbled on an article on the humble beginings of the Gambia Film Unit. Quiet interesting read and nostalgic especially for those who remember the good old days when the unit will travel to villages with Landrovers equipped with portable filmscreens, projectors, speakers etc relaying audio-visual material.
