Interesting but very doubtful and potentially very flawed...
There might be many important secondary benefits to polygamist collectivist societies than monogamist individualistic societies that contributes to longevity. The robust social connections and interdependence in many polygamist collectivist societies could also be a contributing factor...
I think the study should also compare within polygamist societies men who actually practice polygamy to those who do not and see if there is a difference in how long they live... |

A Phenomena? Don’t think so, I remember old Maninka man telling me these 27yrs ago.
The only problem, Will the children also enjoy as father does?
Because he may no longer lives when the children are get to know him.
Ach, what a mentality am bridging here? this is another part of the world enjoying another sun than us.
So now, let’s closes all the research before this.
Because one believes it today and tomorrow will be another.

It all depends who you believe the Germans(usually very efficient!)and of course you have to throw in the no smoking bit,just to be PC or the people at Sheffield University (?)(who used to make very good steel!)The choice is yours.In the meantime whilst pondering over this very complex research ........I will sit down under the the big tree and make some Ataya and.......... perhaps......... have a puf.---------on a cig.....----------no,no, didn't mean that write that at all!!! yes dear, I have given up!
