Salaam everyone. I am in desperate need of help. Where in the Gambia can i get a piece of land cheaply? I keep getting quotes in over D500 000. Its extremely expensive. Any advice???

Va-aleykum salam. Shariffa? What kind of land you are looking for? Size, location, for agriculture, for house, vacation home, for commecial, for a farm? What is the purpose of land? If you are willing to pay 300,000 for a land in gunjur area with no water/electricity (which is still very expensive) I may let you know some individuals.

Its for residential purposes. I would prefer it to be at least 15x25m or more. Still studying, so budget a bit tight. Thanks though!!! He's a for you!!!

I knew one place 25X40 close to Jabang area. THe guy asked me 100,000, I offered 40,000, first he said I am insulting him, than he was still droping his price to 70 but I didn't wanted to pay that much. Good luck.

Turk, what is the size of the plot that costs 300 000 in Gunjur? It must be like 100*100 or

Maybe you should or maybe you are lucky that you didnt,there are so many disputes going on about land transactions,some land is being sold twice some land is being sold that already has an owner who is unaware that it is being sold, there is no system for land security no pieces of paper that are registered with the administration and accepted by the authorities without question.

"Simple is good" & I strongly dislike politics. You cannot defend the indefensible.

Well i bought one in brufu 30x30 in two years ago about D75000, good papers and i was really happy about it, check the land dealer, you may lucky to meet with the good once, good luck
