As Assaulted Briton Remains in Hospital. Olutunde Samson Agibola, alias West, the co-suspect in the attack on Ms. Sue Baxter, a British national, continues to elude arrest after over two weeks. His partner in the alleged crime, Newton Nefe, is reported to have been arrested and charged with robbery with violence and causing bodily harm, and is currently remanded at Mile 2 prison.
Ms. Sue Baxter, was said to have been assailed by the culprits in Sukuta and beaten to a state of unconsciousness.

Sue Baxter is friend and neighbour of mine, i was in Uk when it happened! My Wife along with the gentleman that lives upstairs went to her rescue! It was some weeks ago now. Sue is back in UK hospital at present, hopefully recovering? I wish her well. |

This is terrible! One of the things that attracted me to Gambia was feelong safe to travel alone. I'm not so sure these days.   |

This is disgraceful!! The authorities should set a very good example so that any foreigner or Gambian wanting to endanger the lives of our guests will think twice. Some of these criminal Nigerians should be declared persona non grata.
I wish the lady a speedy recovery. |
