A poem of tribute to Bantaba

By Dalton

Underneath the ‘Bantangyiroh’
Where trees with canopy shades sway
Seedlings growing to full trees over time
A man with cyber vision reigns
The cyber world –Bantaba
Guarding the calves at shore

And the sheep caught in storms
Liberating minds in thunder echoes
With flash lights leading the parades
For the walk-way paths
Of the ‘lumumba’ brains
Battling for freedom, equality and justice.

A standing lanky soldier of time
Freeing the minds, freeing
Guarding the ‘lumumbas’, guarding

While the sun shines on gardens of floral whorls
Bees buzz on sweet nectar, buzzing
Scents of heavenly odors diffusing in the air
On top of oceanic water waves, flowing
With thousands of flying over-head white egrets
Symbolic of peace, love and harmony
Of the diverse global hamlet (People of all kinds)
That pillars the University of Bantaba
With its many graduates, time and again.

Note: The poem above is dedicated to our Bantaba keeper Momodou & his gallant admins. It is also a poem of tribute to all contributors (inclusive package) here.

"There is no god but Allah (SWT); and Muhammad (SAW)is His last messenger." shahadah. Fear & Worship Allah (SWT) Alone! (:

Great Poem dalton.

This invaluable Bantanyiroh is a sanctuary for many. I pray for this tree of sanctuary to be a bastion of hope, peace and progress. Ameen.

Kudos to Koto Momodou and his backroom team.
