Taalibah, 8 largest producers of oil in the world yet still one of the poorest. This says a lot about Africa. The Guy might be gone because you can get anything in Nigeria with A Naira. |

Funny!! It is a pity. Oh Nigeria. Alright, let us wait and see what the president is going to say in his meeting in the US. He must have an explanation for this embrassing situation.
All resources must be mobilised to recapture this evil man. Let me whisper this: may be your presidend is happy about this development, he might be implicated in any court process involving Taylor. Laugh! |

I am not suprised. There is a saying that God created the Human beings and the Nigerians. They are a complete set of other human beings. The Naira is everything. How can a president escape. I hope charles is not in Lofa or Nimba County trying to destabilise Liberia again.
He will regert that because i hope Liberians will hand him over and live in peace. We are tired of coups and may be some drastic example needs to be set to discourage forceful takeover of power. It is lllegitimate. |

Despite Charles Taylor's fall from grace, he still belongs to Africa's presidents club. In Africa's presidents club the motto is "scratch my back I scratch your back". There is a very strong alliance of Africa's presidents to the detriment of their respective subjects. If Charles Taylor is not handed over to the UN tribunal in Sierra Leone, he's going to be tried and convicted in Liberia. Taylor will then be the world's most priviledged prisoner, this is what I fear. Apparently, African politics will never be serious; African republics are banana republics. |

Bamba, do you people want to kill me with laughter?Ha ha hai...Excape from House arrest.Charlse was never under any custody to escape. He was given santuary in Nigeria the most corrupt country in the world where the naira is the president and all bow to it. Have you people forgotten? If Charlse could excape from American prison through a window and come to liberia to wage his war,How would it be a surprise to any if he just walk out of the house he is given and leave the country in Naira Nigeria?Come-on fellows I think My friend Bamba is right a banana republic but I can add smething to that, maybe bamba is a bit away in history. We are now muntaiga republics with every thing coiled as well. Coiling all her people cruketly with it.Now if you atay in Africa five years without moving out once, you must be coiled for lying is nothing now a days despite our religions have desuaded us strongly from it. |

Charles Taylor at his departure to Nigeria, promised that "god willing,he shall be back".The announcement of his handover was more of suprise to me than his socalled escape. The man promised to distabilise the sub-region,and true to his words,he accomplished doing just that. The sub-region is still far from being stable with tens thousands of ex-combatants living deplorable lives,so an excaped Taylor may easily re-recruit and starts what he knows best, killing his way towards the Executive Mansion. |

Janyanfara, allow me to lambast you with a joke. You've now moved your escapades over to Sudan after conquering the "chicks" of Zimbabwe.Just be careful, Sudanese want to see themselves as black Arabs and dont tolerate Bantu ******s like you and me. Charles Taylor never escaped from an American prison. He was groomed and let loose to topple America's hitherto embarassment in Africa, Samuel Doe. Where on earth do you expect an escapee from criminal conviction in America to eventually become a country's president? Ofcourse in Africa, where we have "moontiger" republics like you said. America has permanent interests and not friends. America makes and destroys images when suitable. Come on Janyanfara, simmer down with your globe-trotting escapades. Just a joke. |

Oh my God bamba, No wonder you are Khadimul rasul..God bless you my brother.I cannot close my mouth with loud laughter thamks to you. But truely it was alledged that Charles excaped through a window in an American prison and came to wage war in liberia against the then criminal(like Jammeh) Samuel K.D.(who was America's foe).
For Sudan, well I know very well the white Arabs think of blacks as slaves.Thats not only Sudan, its Arabian penisular as a whole. If you go to Dafur,my God,I sometimes wounder why we(in the Gambia) are Africa? We have been neglected and yet we have not seen that.Sudan is far far far far worse than Iraq and yetnot even a UN sanctions? My God is Koffie Annan even Black?(maybe in colour). The people of Dafur as far as AlBasir is concern, their camels are more important the black Dafurians.
I might work in either Sudan or Zimbabwe one day.
Thanks for making my morning good

Mankajang, according to Salimina Taylor is now captured. Let's all wait for the aftermath of his capture with anxiety. African politics is always very unpredictable.
A Gambian, I think from Gunjur, that studied in Egypt for over eight years referred to Arabs as pigs in an observer interview many years ago. That was a very honest reflection of his hard times in Egypt. I am not worried by the Arabs, am worried by the products of black and Arabs, through a tragic history, begging for acceptance into the Arab race. Very, very sad indeed.
Sudanese are blacks with Arabs ancestry. Mark you, there are some mulatoes that reject blacks too. When identity crises force people to reject themselves then they are in a real state of trauma and should be pitied. |

ya, at long last he has been handed over to sierra leone war C. tribunal but only ofter George Bush treatened Obansangoe that he would be refused white house audiance unless Tailor is found.Just few hours after he was captured with bags full of Cash.
What is the cash for? Where does he intend taking such huge amount to? How did he manage to hide all that morney in? why did Nigeria anounce him missing in the first place? was there a cook up thing from Nigeria's side? What happen to the bags full of cash after his capture, was it give to sierra leone war crimes tribunal as a proof?
Africa oh Africa. |

Greetings, Earlier today Sky News televised the landing of Charles Taylor in The Netherlands...

Tailor will dance to the tune he has been playing. At least the people of sierra leone and liberia and even the Gambia will breathe a sigh of relief. But nowlook some of his friends have distanced themselves from him. That shows the evils of evil.Had it been they had been friends towards good then we will hear noise. But deb...nothing.

Sometimes i wonder if taylor has not played a role in the gambia. He promise jawara especially those who sent troops to ECOMOG that he will destabilise them. Who knows. It is a wild guess. May be i am wrong. At least we have got rid of one big problem and should be an eye opener to the rest of the stiff-necked fools. |
