Yes you missed that part of the war. It was not retaliation for pearl harbour. Actually, there is a speculation that pearl harbour is just a bogus, as yankees used as an excuse to attack japan. The atomic bombs dropped on civilan population twice in two cities, for the first time in human history and the last time. Yankees say they just wanted to finish the war. In my believe that is a war crime.

quote:
A number of notable individuals and organizations have criticized the bombings, many of them characterizing them as war crimes or crimes against humanity and/or state terrorism. Two early critics of the bombings were Albert Einstein and Leo Szilard, who had together spurred the first bomb research in 1939 with a jointly written letter to President Roosevelt. Szilard, who had gone on to play a major role in the Manhattan Project, argued:

"Let me say only this much to the moral issue involved: Suppose Germany had developed two bombs before we had any bombs. And suppose Germany had dropped one bomb, say, on Rochester and the other on Buffalo, and then having run out of bombs she would have lost the war. Can anyone doubt that we would then have defined the dropping of atomic bombs on cities as a war crime, and that we would have sentenced the Germans who were guilty of this crime to death at Nuremberg and hanged them?"

Jambo,
USA is the worst terrorist state existing today. Only blind folded people would not see the truth. Al-Qaeda is present nearly everywere it depends on the events and experience of the people and their reaction. It seems that freedom fighters who do not accept US propaganda are always lebeled as terrorists. USA does not have the right to play world police. They do it today with the help of corruption called lobbying.

Kayjatta, USA is a guilty state criminal, currently headed by one of the world greatest genocidal killer, since Hitler. The global terrorist activities of the United States are uncountable.Infact i dont see these people in Algeria and Iraq or wherever as terrorist. They are fighting for their own liberty and freedom.Do you guys remember the Algerian elections in 1993?It is liberty or death.Didnt they called Nelson Mandela a terrorist?Yes they do.Dont buy this western menu of lies. They are the criminals. They are the people who went around the world and put their snotty noses in peoples affairs.Dont blame the people who are reacting to the criminal western regimes. That vice criminal president of the US the world no.2 evil man, was against the release of nelson mandela. He called mandela a terrorist.Liberty for everybody or Liberty for nobody. No one will live in peace while exporting death and miseries to others.Thats not justice.Meme, for the jews holocuast:I think we quit thinking the way the western people teaches us to think. We black people, have seen the worst, the most brutal, the most evil, the most barbaric form of holocuast on this earth.Let stop the western criminal regimes, pushing their crimes against the jews on our throats.I have nothing against the jews:They are great people. They are the only people in this world who have make the west pay their crimes against humanity. We blacks should also step forward and demand justice.

mr.justice, let me bring this to your attention, I am not sure if you are aware of it, if you then okay but some people might not be. i quote you "We blacks should also step forward and demand justice", people are trying to do, follow jesse jackson, when he made a financial company in the USA, say sorry and pay for scholarships.
Your wish to have "We blacks should also step forward and demand justice." would not work, because people would not unite and speak as one for voice. I do not believe that Nigerians/ghanians/Gambians and Sierra Leones would unit and claim justice as one voice. What would happen is individuals would claim to have more compensation/justic rights than others.
How would you put this plan into action, TO GET JUSTICE you have to be united.
YOU MENTION STEP FORWARD, which direction, which country, when, the "we blacks" how many people will join you.

jambo,
Ther is an organisation in Sweden where Gambia, Nigeria, Uganda, Guinea,Burundi and Ghana are colaborating fully towards a common intrest. They have started something worth developing. The children of these members could develop it as an example to all Africans. Given the time, people would see the neccity of coming together.

at least this is a start, my pointis this whithout unity it is a lost cause. secondly the reason some people did not wnt to go down this road, who would get the money, i would not recommended anyone join in any repatriation lobby with knowing the facts. Who are you going to ask for a refund, the governments, the companies, the families. you have to be clear about this point.
another fact is this, some people who would benefit realised that their ancestors had a hand in selling them and being part of the slave trade.
One scheme that is gathering momentum is drop the debt, you could see that making sense of a lot more people .

But I am glad MEME brought the jewish issue. It requires some clarification. Seems like MEME is trying to score some points with the jewish holocoust while it was still done by europeans. But let us clarify; Jewish holocoust has nothing to so with muslims, samoans, native americans, japanase, africans and nepalase. It happened in the middle of europe, where bach composed, da vinci painted, martin luther preached.

The hate of jews are mostly in western countries. Western civilization are responsible for what happened to jews in 1940s or before. Not samoans, not gambians, not apaches. Christianity's hate for jews starts with Jesus's lynch. Than especially when europe was in dark age, jews were subjected to inquisition. For example, in 1500 century, Ottoman empire magnificant suleyman accepted the jews who escape from spainish inquisition as refugee in ottoman empire. Jews were protected under ottoman empire and jarussalem for centuries.

The conflict of muslims and jews started 1948. When british empire establish the state of israel on palestine land. Just wanted to clarify that. There is a huge difference between 'the hate of jews by fanatic christians, kkk, wasp, hitler and 'the hate of israel' by muslims.

I personally condemn jews inquisition, discrimination and finally holocoust done by europeans for last 1900 years. However, while many in middleeast have no problem with jews because of jewishness, many in middleeast have problem with the jews because of state of israel. So when MEME is trying to connect holocoust to this topic, she is omitting the historical reason that jewish holocoust is europe's problem. Hating jews and conflict with israel are two different things.

And so you see, Jambo, just as I predicted, history is being re-written as we read This is what happens when a poster doesn't follow the actual posting threads - oh dear!

Still, some posters are if nothing else extremely predictable hahahahahahaha ....

Turk, now i don't know what to do: should i give you an '11'-rating for deliberately turning an other poster's words upside down, mixing them a bit and then starting to knit a whole new discussion from the strange concoction that is the result of your 'magic'?
Or is this a simple combination of a 5 and an 8 rating?
Hey, didn't i promise to remind you of your promise?
