that is his personal opinion.it doesn't make any difference to the fact that majority of human beings believe in a personal god.so if mr weinberg thinks he is not interested in religion ,he is interested in other things that others are not interested as well. we see through a different looking glass .philosophers of old took the place of a personal god to some,they quote them in every aspect of their lifes ,from max to pluto ,from democratus to darwin,glaton, neich,etc.this men shape the lifes of many who took them as role models and heros.others choose men of faith and who talk in spiritual language ,morality and limits,godlyness and the concept of heaven and hell .we are all heading to a direction that we choose for ourselves .it is a common saying in islam that ''god doesn't punish any one for evils you did not commit by choise''we choose our path and we shall have no excuse infront of god.if we use our intelligence to dispute god ,then may we can try to use the same intelligence to argue with him for the way we choose to live our lifes.
