How ironic it is that Gambia imports its eggs and there are so many chickens working around Gambia. People don't have to wait for £25,000D to set up a project all they need is one cockerel one hen to start with if that's all they can afford. Gambians just need to make an effort to become more self-sufficient those comfortable days of setting in the bantabaa and watching the world go by is a luxury the country can no longer afford.

i agree, what nonsense is this, why are they waiting this is a basic food, why import, it leaves it open to price inflation.

is that the price of one chicken, no problem i will buy a dozen for my villagers, toubab1020, next time i am in gambia i will take you shopping, they quoted be 5.00 pounds, hmm, they saw me coming.
