I lost a step-mother yesterday Nov 15th 2007. Her name is Da-Jarabajeh. She was aged and death was very sudden.
Please all, don't forget to make dua' for her inshallahu.
A TRIBUTE TO DA-JARABAJEH
O Lord! You stroke again At my yard Where my umbilical cord was buried
My heavy heart asunder My eyes with burning tears My nostrils dripping heavily My ear drums beating louder My skin shivering relentlessly

I would also like to express my condolences, those who we have always known even though they get old we never expect them to die, they have always been there for us, their memory will forever be fresh with us,and live with us until we ourselves die. Your posting really touched me,and I am sad for you and your family, even though I do not know you other than through Momodou's Bantaba.

Thank you guys. I had a lot of comfort from your prayers.
For a fact, it is a trying time for me.
Just after the first death, my dad's best friend "Jaafar" passed away today, at the same hospital. You know villages are more or less like hamlets. very small communities. A strike of two within 48hrs sounds just like death itself, especially if they are all close to you & your family. If you hear i won't set tears, not certain strikes. No amount of inner effort can stop the tears.
Now what that man means to me, i cannot explain to anyone, perhaps not in words. He loved my family dearly. He supported us at time of need, during day and night.
But i leave their affairs in the Hands of Allah swt who creates and takes back to Himself the souls of humans. The fridays scare me a lot. Yes, they do! But as believers, we cannot have 'eke' days. It is just day where by coincidence the bigs things happened.
My family's Jaafar, Rest in peace for eternity. |

Halifa Salah: PDOIS is however realistic. It is fully aware that the Gambian voters are yet to reach a level of political consciousness that they rely on to vote on the basis of Principles, policies and programmes and practices. |

Thank you all, brothers & sisters.
It is a time i needed family & frieds. Allah by mercy provided it.
I am sure everyone experienced something similar, or even worse. Such family separations creates big gaps.
The doors of Jannah be open 'gush' for them, & those of us to follow. Amen!!
At long last the quranic verse "Kulni nafsin ejaa ekatil mawt/ every soul shall test of death" is factual enough for everyone.

Inna lillahi wa inna illai hi rji'un.
One day the Prophet (pbuh) visited the Cemetery along with some of his followers, and he said to them: " I long for my beloved ones?". His followers said: " Aren't we your beloved ones O' messenger of Allah ". The Prophet (pbuh) said: " you are my companions ". Then they say: " who are your beloved ones?". The Prophet said: " People come after you believed in me without seeing me ". they asked: " How would you know them on Judgment day even though you haven't seen them O' messenger of Allah?". The Prophet said: " My followers are gathered ' Ghurr'an Muhajjalin ' ".
(( Gurr'an means light on the forehead, and Muhajjalin means light on the feet, and what brings about this light is the Ablution 'Wudu' ))
May the departed souls be among the "beloved ones" of our noble prophet (S.A.W). Please accept my sincerest condolence for your lost ones. |
As Salamu Alaikum Waramatullah Wabarakatu |
