Do you recall the gallant Keith Ellison's entry to congress.....meinnnn, we saw it all then.... the man said
he believes in God, and therefore obligated to take oath with the muslim quran.....
that was my eye opener time..... but knowing the real Keith Ellison, he can handle his own stuff.

Okay, Turk I am back. I used to go to a certain mosque mainly for Friday prayers. This mosque was so politicized, the Imam's sermon was always centered on Bush, Blair, Sharon, Palestine, Kashmir, jihad, and what not. I object strongly to the last posting of Mr Dalton in this thread. 'Farty-farting. licking ass, sucking dick' etc. etc. Is that allowed? i see **** appear for much less insulting words. Is it necessary to partake in the discussion in this way Dalton1? Can't you do any better, you would-be journalist? I pointed out a grave mistake in one of your postings because you probably don't read first whatever you post, and you quickly corrected it without so much of a thank-you. Go tear your hair out for all i care, but you'd better learn to control yourself.
This is one of the worst postings i ever read here and i cannot understand that it is accepted by everyone but me. Disgrace and the lowest of low. Hope you don't think for one moment that by coming up with this kind of 'arguments' you can make people think again and see things in a way that comes closer to your 'filosophy of life'. We are talking about the 'shame' to that author of the piece. i understand your frustration- be that topics kris-kros here.
Get to something more important yaw.....i am ready to move on..
As far as your objection, that i respect as opinion. You too, i object to some of what you wrote, but i am not personalizing any attack on you. You just accepted the conclusion of the usage of the word '*****' on others, so wat are talking about here...
with the rectification of the word "NOT". don't feel bad that i don't openly say thank you, but be glad i took it to rectify my post. you should raise your elbow high for that.
i was meditating deeply, not to allow my emotions do a worst job here. infact, under this topic, there is a tendecy for more rage, secondary to any thing. because i see so much hypocrisy, or people are unwilling to accept the truth.
If you can't see anything wrong with that post, and i don't know why you can catch the wrongs of my words....funny that one....
but hey, no heart-feeling.

At first i thought that your strange conconction of words and phrases (i have much trouble to read your postings with this very confusing 'train of thoughts') were meant as some sort of peace-offering but i can see now that you are happy that i was hurt after all, because i was the one 'hurting feelings of others'. I am not at all afraid to get my feelings hurt (i wouldn't be on Bantaba if i would be) but again i object to your choice of words which could never be mine.
Let me help you again because you clearly need an editor.Your signature seems to want to tell us that there is no God. Please, if you do not want to be ridiculous again: place the komma after the word Allah. I suppose your message to the world is that 'there is no God but Allah, and Muhammed is His Messenger'.
My advice to you is that you go look for a change of profession. You are not a very good communicator in my opinion. |

I've often noticed that people whose first language isn't English seem to find it ok to use words that are considered impolite by those of us whose language it is so I would leave it at that, Anna. I'm taking Lurkers 'high road' in future why don't you join us?

This one i like much from you. & thanks...you should be my editor, and let me know how much you know as you seem to indicate...what do you know about my profession, or are you asking what i do for living? You can never measure how much i know. try it if you want...

Dalton, you will never be the one who will make me decide to step down. If i am implying (it's true, i do not know what your profession is. You could be a ladies' hairdresser or a car mechanic, both of them very respectable ways to earn a living. I only know that you put yourself forward as a journalist), you are implying as well.
I do not need any lubrication while pronouncing the kalimah/declaration because it is a statement that i am used to. I live with a sensible Gambian man, who is also a Muslim. A very tolerant and reasonable man, that goes without saying or else i could not live with him. We live together harmoniously and peacefully, as i would wish the world to live. What would i be on Bantaba for, if i was not closely involved in the Gambia and in Islam?
Do yourself a favor and replace that comma. Because now your signature is nonsensical and even blasphemous. 'There is no God,... What is? No God. There is no God but Allah,.....

Thanks for your persistence on it. If that's the case, don't capitalize the (god), as the capital denotes the true God/Allah/Il/Jehovah/Mario/Jomiradoh/Metei. I am going change it to reflect what you said. Make sure you go ahead and change the capital "G" to small one in your usage. lets see how fast you and I can catch errors
