The delemmas of lone parenthood. Never mind Bev things will probably pick up for you in your 50's, inshallah . Try looking on the bright side of life your off to Gambia in November (just watch your heart and wallet this time!) You'll be taking your students, enjoying your charity, no doubt trying to revamp your romance.

What are you complaining about??

Peace

Glad you find my problems funny.

Sister Omega, thanks for your upbeat posting. My daughter is also coming with me this trip for the first time.

My romance is off, unless that Gambia sunshine turns my head again!

Come on people, if Gambiabev is attention seeking so what? all people are different, personal critism shouldn't play a part in this Bantaba

If you dont do it now odds on you will never do it cos you will always be putting some sort of brick wall up. So the question is DO YOU REALY WANT TO DO IT if yes then DO IT

It seems Kobo is encouraging Bev to get on with her 'Gambian life' and stop putting up 'brick walls'. Like he (or she?) is telling her 'it's now or never'.

Well..everyone could have their reasons for coming up with obstacles. In that case: when in doubt, cut it out! I'm sure all of us try to listen to our 'inner voice', hoping it will one day become clear what the 'rest of our lives' will look like. But there are lots of people who, for some reason, do not trust their inner voice too much and they look for confirmation in other people's views.
