Hi Bantaba folks,
I wanted to run this through you to see if anyone is interested or may know someone who might be interested in this employment opportunity.
We currently have a need for employees/contractors for our Dutch/Netherland Market as Segmentation Editors.
Does anyone also know of some employment websites in Dutch/Netherland; Germany; Italy and Spain where I can post jobs for open positions?
Below is the job description:
Position Title: Market Analyst/Segmentation Editor (German, Spanish-Spain, Spanish-Mexico, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, English-United States, Dutch-Netherlands, English-Australia) 6 mos.
Location: N/A (Home-based work)
Position Description
This project is a platform that supports online advertising products. This task is to help train algorithms for the platform.
This is a work-from-home position requiring attentive and motivated individuals. The position involves labeling Websites based on given criteria. The successful candidate will work within a Web-based application comparing user search engine queries and advertiser keywords with Website landing pages. The editor must judge the relevancy and relationship between the query, keyword, ad snippets on the page and the page itself.
Applicants will be required to complete and return a ringer test to determine basic computer skills.
If successful on the test, further screening will take place, usually over the phone.
Required Skills/Background:
A) Grader Qualifications
1. Native level language speaker in language of relevancy verification testing (German, Spanish-Spain, Spanish-Mexico, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, English-United States, Dutch-Netherlands or English-Australia)
2. Fluency in English (both written & oral)
3. Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken
4. Ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken) in target language and in English
5. Ability to work under supervision & tight deadlines
6. Smart, teachable, and follows directions (both verbal and written)
7. Ability to make good decisions independently
8. Ability to work in a team
9. Ability to clearly explain and defend editorial decisions in both written and verbal form
10. Experienced Internet user (2 years minimum) in the following areas:
a. Web content awareness in market (top portals, search engines, online shopping sites)
b. Excellent Web surfing skills
c. Ability to use appropriate keywords to return desired results when Web searching
d. Ability to quickly identify and assess content which is relevant to their search
e. Familiarity with online shopping and advertising, particularly eBay, PayPal and Online banking.)
11. Familiarity with targeted market advertisers and brands for various verticals, such as Retail, Fashion, Consumer Products, Automobile, etc.
12. Preferably local to the targeted market or very strong, current knowledge of market
13. Experience/knowledge with various data analysis tools, such as Excel.
14. Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions.
15. Demonstrated willingness to learn new technology
16. Attention to detail and data accuracy.
17. 2-3 years experience working in documentation, editing, writing with Web-based ad content
18. Editorial skills in creating taxonomies and/or library science, especially knowledge and experience in Search
19. Previous experience with Lionbridge or Microsoft Search projects
B) Technical Requirements
1. Candidate has used Windows O.S. for 2 years or more
2. Candidate has used Internet Explorer for 2 years or more
3. Candidate has Excel for 2 years or more
4. Candidate must complete and return ringer test.
5. Experience with SQL preferred
C) Education/Certification Required
Degree level or equivalent, preferably in human sciences such as Marketing, Library Science, or Psychology
