Reading the observer this afternoon, i came across this article about the threats of vandalism and terror agianst the Coach of the U-20s and the family of a team member. If these hooligans have grieviances they better channel them thru the right way. If they are true fans, how many of them pay gate fees to watch nawettan much more league matches? If they do go to matches how amny of them do attend football congresses to vote or canvass votes for the people who run football in The Gambia? In a nutshell this attitude is not right for Gambian football which is rising thanks to many sacrfices of players, their families, fans and local football authorities.

That's absolutely ridiculous, as if nobody loses; even Brazil one of the best, lost one of its matches and on some other occasions as well. Those responsible should be hunt down and brought to justice. They are nothing but bung of cowardly and ignorant fools. If I was to be the Judge on their rulings I would easily sentence them to 10yrs or so for their acts of nonsense.... just joking!!! |

i just cannot believe this cause Bonu Johnson atleast produced good results so far and his boys are making history. Just because he is gambian dont mean he is not a good couch. Gambian always had this mentality that any thing foreign is better than domestic. i always advocated for a foreign couch for the seniors to avoid biases and not because we dont have talented ones to handle the post. i agree with you pappa that they should be purnished for their actions. |
