The boys are definitely making history. I did not get to watch the match against Portugal but i was the least surprise with the win because i knew that with better concentration the boys can beat any team. However they need to do better when defending set pieces. There is little communication between the goalkeeper and his defence resulting in unnecessary hesistency or mistimed attempts to clear the ball from the goal area. I hope Bonu has addressed this in time for the match against Austria especially with the unavailability of their heroic and intelligent leader and defender, Ken Jammeh. Ken had been a revelation in this tournament and was unfortunate to be dismissed. Whoever replaces him tonight will have to perform an equally wholehearted display for them to progress to the next round. Austria is not as flambouyant as the Portuguese and Mexican teams but they play well as a unit.
