| I think Bonu is right, we lost the plot in midfield after the first goal. They lost concenttration and give away possession cheaply, with Sainey Nyassy the most guilty culprit. The defense in my opinion was super apart from the mistake leading to the first goal. Pierre Gomez(who had a fantastic all round performance) was caught napping when he could have read and anticipated the header from Alagie Ngum, something Dos Santos did much quicker and lashed out a superb volley. The other noticable element of the gambian game was that our stiker are not good ball holders especially with their back turned to goal. They really miss Modou Ceesay(Zic). He did this job perfectly well in Peru and the african tournament in Banjul. He link up well with the midfield and was able to provide some brilliant assists to Ous Jallow as well as midfielders. Goals were raining from all angle with Zic present. He could also keep possession to calm the tempo of the game if the opposition proved to be a bit tricky, as Brazil learnt in Peru. Having said this, it was a good all round performance from the boy. It was never a trashing as the score would suggest. I think the boys have won many fans among neutrals and lovers of the beautiful game. |

| Shaka, what happened to Momodou Ceesay? I dont know if you are going to be watching the game tonight, but incase you do please provide update during the game cause am in the us and therefore could not watch it over the internet. The only state that could watch it live is Georgia. Where are you Madiba? |

| Ylowe i don't know why Zic didn't make it to the tournament, maybe he is injured or something. It a shame because he could have provided a better striking option. I can't believe the fifa tv facility is not extended to the USA. Maybe it is a punishment for their sin. How can baseball and bb be more popular than the beautiful game. This is an ultimate sin. I will try to give updates as much as possible. |
