Sister as a true democrat and a versatile politician, is it good to have a dictator, a rubber stamp legislature, week oppostion (harassed, tormented etc)for the Gambia and accept those conditions as a CITIZEN (and PATRRIOT) without challenge to them or cry foul play where there are flaws in its CONSITUTION, ADMINISTRATION OF RULE OF LAW & JUSTICE

I too enjoy the sister's postings. I might suggest that she hss more or less the same attitude as I have towards Gambia. I do not know if she is from Gambia or not but she has a good knowledge of what is happening there. She and the other non Gambians on the forum have a love for Gambia and wants all good. This is a good begginning for those who realy want to go back and try to implement changes. One can even join the APRC(if possible)and try to forward suggestions of changes to what we are debating here. There would be a support that dag from most of here in this end. |

Sister would recall the quote and further endorsed them as sheer conceeding of many weaknesses, flaws and un-democratic systems and structures that cannot justify that there is no need for RECTIFICATIONS, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF our PRESENT CONSTITUTION in particular to incorporate PRESIDENT'S TERM LIMITS and other fundamental issues that were over-cited or deleted to suit certain political motives and interests of the current government.
Remember that the CIVIL SERVICE is already POLITICISED and its only APRC MEMBERS that can dominate POSITIONS AND ALLOWED TO BE VOCAL ON POLITICS! Think about that Sister; it is fair-play and justice for others to be denied of their political RIGHTS |

Without doubt, there are among Gambians those who hold no desire to bank on political position or even such public position as Director, Manager, etc. Out there somewhere, we have genuine Gambian citizens who cannot "stand beside and look", while the nation's good sons and daughters are being subjected to all forms of manipulation in the name of political achievement, popularity or branded faked developments. You guys in Bantaba started a very progressive environment of sharing good views needed to take forward this little but good nation. In your good efforts to bring sanity on track, it is clearly seen how some others with whatever motives, prefer throwing their weight on the basket making things hard to progress. Anyone who thinks of dominating a country for life is nobody good for the people of that country. In our case, that is exactly the role Jammeh is playing. It happened that in the last 13 years, all was taken for granted. Now , we as humble citizens of this little country must not allow such insanity and arrogance to persist. Yahya Jammeh is no explorer to have re-discovered The Gambia (Santanfara). Gambians never for one moment thought a man they so trusted will turn around to become their tormentor, oppressor, exploiter, and killer. We can undo this state of affairs by the very good efforts all of you now resolve to subscribe. Kobo, Salmina, Dalton1, Baldeh, Santanfara, Momodou, Madiba, Gambiabev, Jambo, Serenata, Karl, Kondorong, Ebou4, Alhassan, Mansasulu, and the rest, for you all, it is due to your indulgence that we can come this far. Bread Man, Sister Omega, it is possible you love Gambia too. It is dangerous by all accounts to be blind defender of unsustainable situations. The fact that didvided by time and space constraints we are still able to relate so cordial, there is something to admire in that altogether. It costs no more than our few minutes and dancing fingers on the keyboard to have generated so much in so little a time. What you have all put together within short interval is far more of an output than what the socalled Secretaries of States in Gambia continue doing since 13 years. All they want is to stay until they loot so much national resources. Every word from Radio Gambia or the national GRTS and favoured media houses is nothing but agressive promo. We can liberate Gambia by believing and defending what they (our exploiters) don't believe and will never stand to see prevail. That is all about it Kobo. It is possible to organise Gambian minds and then to share positive values free from FEAR, FAVOUR and DECEIT, as you rightly put. Well done, compatriots.
