Yes, youīre right Formby.

Just one more thing though Twinkly (no offence but...).
I am a whitey, a toubab, a westerner. I was born and raised in this Babylon. I may have a western attitude even, but hey I guess Thatīs just me!
I canīt be noone else and canīt be black nomatter how much I plate my hair or dance African dance or hang out with my dear African friends. I am still white, nothing in the world can change that.
My ancestors were brutal, strong vikings and you know what?
Iīm damn proud of myself and my nordic culture! I just love being me.
Without therefore having to be superior or judgemental against others. I love other people like I love myself. And because I have that self love, I donīt have to try and bring other people down or spreading those negative vibes on to others. It all starts with yourself.
Whatever issues you may have with yourself, try and solve them first before taking the easy way out and throw dirt on other people who are not like you. Nobody is perfect in this world.

Of all the years I’ve lived in Sweden, experience has taught me to be very cautious with whites’ heated exchanges. Whites have the maturity to compartmentalize things-----put things where they belong. After a very heated discussion, whites can sit together in a pub and share beers together as if nothing had ever happened. I wish one could have said the same thing of blacks too.

Babylon and Twinkly, see me as a peaceful mediator, a pacifier, if you like. The feminist party here in Sweden is split due to salacious accusations and counter-accusations. Here we have a crystal clear manifestation that without men on their side women can never make it alone. Women are creatures of emotions and need men to hop in sporadically to cool down feminist tensions.

Twinkly, I don't! Women are far better mediators than men and capable of greater diplomatic skills, since we don't have the 'we can't back down or we won't be seen as real men' issue.

Mind you, the internet provides quite a unique arguing forum as there're none of the social mechanisms in place for finding a mutual place to agree. Both want to get the last word in and both will fume if they don't.

As women, you should set an example and agree to disagree.

If I could find out how to put a smiley face in, I'd put one HERE!

Twinkly. You know, the problem with you is that you like to start arguements and then blame it on other people. You want to be seen as the innocent victim here, asking Bamba to come for your rescue from this horrible western, loudmouth **** Babylon. (I am, so what?)
I just wonder How you cope in the real world with all your generalazitions about people? How do you handle things when you yourself offend people and then canīt take the heat youīve caused?
You talk about how we westerners are so loud mouthed, but what about yourself? I think you are the loudest one on this forum.
But donīt worry, Iīm gonna leave you in peace now to deal with your own issues. Sorry, I canīt help you and I donīt have the time to talk to ignorant airheads like you.

Twinkly, let’s both agree with Formby, women are more diplomatic. Men resort to fisti- cuffs as a final resort. Women resort to throwing aspersions to one another. Here we have two women that have never seen each other yet indulged in a third world war of aspersions. Indeed the internet is wonderful, as Formby opines.

Now you got me thinking Formby.
What you say makes sense aswell.Hmmm, which one is it then?Proud men who can't take it to give in, or the loudmouthed women who get very emotional about things.
I couldn't choose, so I guess we both are good but in our own ways.

Babylon, I will no longer take your rudeness and constant bickering, so please do everyone a favour and keep quiet about this issue.

Hmmm.....I'm a woman and I don't get emotional over a difference of opinion with a stranger. OR DO I?????? (Lol)

Ahem....Anyway, Bamba, are you a Gambian chap? What took you to Sweden? Do you enjoy it there? I've never been but I do dance to Abba when drunk.

They say tragedy (though nothing tragic about heated exchanges) plus time is equivalent to satire. The exchanges between Twinkly and Babylon are now getting satirical. Here we have two people who just can’t get enough of each other.Babylon, u cant be so hard that u dont accept apology. Cam on now, please do.
