Assuming that you are one of the good opinion holders listened to by His Kanilai Highness Emperor Jammeh, you will do everyone great service by calling his attention over the fact of media monopoly. Gambia TV is created by Jammeh to quickly sell his colourful white elephant projects. He scored hard on good brains as well.
You keep assuming that the mention of Jammeh's multiple flaws amounts to one being a misguided critic. Again your opinion is well respected. For GRTS to serve any other purpose apart from progation of Jammeh's PR activities is a good idea you very accurately recognised. Jammeh will take no offence by you making mention of that monopoly. You would have tagged anyone else another badge of dishonour if the word came from others outside the Jammeh circle. You deserve to be thanked for your brave revelation on such matter of national concern. Well done.
bro karamba , i once again thank you for the enlightening debate you always engage in with the yaya mafia fraternity. keep up the political debate. may be bread man don't listin properly to yaya ,if he does then he will know what kind of a man the thug is .yaya knows one thing which is gambians like name and titles ,so long as many stand on the queue to get the title of being call a secreatary of state , a crdible opposstion will be a difficult agenda to accomplice. |

Brother Santanfara,
They know they ride on the wrong side of justice lane. A coup by all civil considerations is the most unacceptable process of assuming political power. Once Jammeh came through a coup, the longer he stays in power the further his extension of illegal rule. Before we can take Jammeh serious, he's got to step out and learn a more decent way of gaining access to public office. Anything less is no good food for Gambian consumption. In short Jammeh is wasting valuable time. His PR campaigns could not win him the flowery image he badly craves for. What pains most Gambians is the manner Jammeh and his lot insist we have to forget or pretend about the ugly past and that his coup was justifiable. What do you think of that? Unless a people accept fault, it is hard to correct them. That is the firm position of Jammeh and lot. At their most they choose too much fire and air pressure to petrify others. Any mention of Jammeh in his true colours cuts deep into the thick flesh of his supporters. |

Bro Santangfara I am really not very interested in what Jammeh says, but rather what he delivers. Yes I hear what he says and to me it collaborates his wish for the nation. He has said that if you are away from The Gambia 4 months and come back, you will see some changes in developements. That is happening. He said he will build roads, he did. He said he will build a tv station, he did and the list goes on and on. Now, if I am told that Jammeh is just a thug who is here to ruin our country, i would like some proves to that. If you read my postings you will see that I agree that Jammeh has flaws but who does not??? |

Dear All
Jammeh is feeding on tax payer funds and all his expensive connections are facilitated by state resources. To bring any project is so little to deserve mention. The question is who asked him seized power in the first place and why does he choose getting richer than a whole country ? Why does he need to spend so much money on image building lobbyists in US and elsewhere? Who is there that Jammeh wants acceptance from that he has to take a deep cut from Gambia's slim resources for building his personal image? EVERYTHING JAMMEH !! That is not normal. If Jammeh so loves this job and wants to stay on for 40 years without stinky stains, he has to respect people and behave right. This game of casting fear over a whole nation and turning around to boast about bringing development is not going to work. We are in a different era with different standards. Jammeh is no founder of little Gambia as he wants us believe. He is so unfair with history that he prefers to reel time fast forward to appear as if he discovered Gambia as warrior king. This is the highest level of self deception. No, no, this game is no win for anyone who thinks and acts like Jammeh. This is year 2007 and beyond we are dealing with. Gambians are no slaves to be meted the type of arrogance and pressure exerted by a Jammeh man. |

| Sorry Brother Santangfara for your uncle, I didn´t mean to make you angry. All I mean is that many things are attributed to Jammeh that he do not even know about at the time of its occurance, I can attest to that. Its just too sad that Jammeh´s flaws overshaddows his possitive achievements. I wish Jammeh him self could come out of the dark and shed light on so many things. It is the mark of inteligence not to agree with an idea but entertain it anyway in the name of clarity. |

| Breadman, if jammeh can kill, maimed, gagged and rule with cowardice, doing few things will not make him a good president.Bro i have been following your reasoning and i think you are too good to be sympathetic to jammehs cause. |

To state that Jammeh is not aware of what goes wrong is casting an emperor image of him which no sane Gambian will buy. A man who seized power by coup because he claimed things were wrong, that man has the fullest responsibility to see everything go right. Not knowing what others do on his behalf turns him the most incompetent for the job and makes him ready for the exit door. Such statements are below the lowest standards of responsible thinking. The Gambia is not a barren empire for brutal dictatorship and Jammeh's remaining days will only be greeted with harder resistance by a clear and determined citizenry. Even if the constitution is changed thousand folds to carve Jammeh into what his wild dreams inpress on him, Gambians will have no tolerance for him any more and his frustrations will increase to untold magnitudes. |
