I see that you also doubt his education, but, to be honest, he is triying a bit, or? Gambia looks different than 10 years ago, whiles I suggest that even the gambians worldwide did theire part on that with building nice houses and developing areas.

I like Jammeh for his few actions, but I don´t like his attitude. With all the money he is having, he could have done more for the Gambia, but also we don´t have to forget a countries debt towards other countries. Let the Gambia not reach there.

Unfortunately, the network in the Gambia did not work on that particular weekend, and before Yamundow Jagne
got the papers for clearance, the medicines were gone - strange, but true!

The Observer, 15th of Nov:

President Yahya Jammeh has ordered the services of an expert in the treatment of burns to help in the treatment of the Kanifing gas explosion victims who are currently admitted at The Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital.
The Gambian leader made this disclosure yesterday at the handing over ceremony of medical items (consumable and non-consumable) to the Jammeh Foundation For Peace (JFP) Hospital, Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) and the Sulayman Junkung Hospital in Bwiam at a ceremony held at State House.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, President Jammeh said although the medicament are small, they are the most expensive drugs one can buy and are not readily available in The Gambia. He said the good thing about the medicament is the fact that there is a lot for children and one aspect is that they are used for the treatment of burns. These things are very essential and there is more to come.

This was a very tragic incident. What did they tell Yamundow Jagne when she tried to get the papers for clearance? Did you contact the media or any authority about this?

this is not correct, who every handed of the goods with proper creditionals or identification of Mrs Manundo Jagne was to blame.
this should be investigated, what other goods go missing.
this was sent in good faith via DHL. THE AGENT IN GAMBIA ON BEHALF OF DHL IS ACCOUNTABLE.
THEY SHOULD BE SUED.
I FEEL STRONGLY ON THIS ONE.

It was not sended via DHL - it was sended via Deltaair with SABENA and we don´t know who claimed the parcels. My sister in law went to Dr. Tamsir Mbowe and told him about that, but so far we did not do anything again. And, to be honest with all of you, we are scared to contact other authorities because of our families in the Gambia. The papers were sended via E-Mail to my sister in law and she handed them over to Yamundow in person, so, whoever claimed the goods was not holding any identificationpaper. We want people to know what happened, but we don´t want our people back there to face problems because of something that already passed. We decide to leave this one with Allah - let him judge with the ones who take it, but people should know, or am I wrong on that?
100% true, but we are here - save - in europe! Please, Momodou, understand that point the way I say it!
