I must say that i am grateful that many people are paying attention to this issue. We must be active. We have lived under tyrany for too long first under Jawara and now with this regeme. We must be vigilant and make sure that whoever takes the place of jammeh is not allowed to be a tyrant.

What my friend said about writing to different pressure groups is important. anything that would add to the efforts should be welcomed. Yesterday i got a presonal e-mail from a young man whom i never met he goes to school at Kentucky State University. He wrote to me thanking me for speaking out and told me that he is collecting fax numbers of all government agencies and departments he intend to send them faxes about the political situation in the gambia. I asked him why fax and he replied that people can choose not to open e-mail but the fax would inevitably be received. He gave me a web page where you could send fax free i dont know how good it is because i have not tried it. http://www.tpc.int/sendfax.html. I think it is a good idea. One could deffinately use it to send faxes to various government officials and challenge their consciences. i.e those who still have a conscience left.
