I look forward to watching videos of the ongoing Africa Nations Cup tournament. Those of you who have the chance to see the matches live are lucky. I am only able to follow the results on the Internet
Good luck to Senegal with this matches in group D.

2 Senegal -0 Zimbabwe 1 Nigeria -0 Ghana
It seems that Senegal is surprising some of their Gambian cousins eh eh Momodou
Anyway as Umarnino mentioned I have no real interest in football but I could hear his cheers and he gave me some live commentary.
Peace

Nevermind Momodou, I think Senegal was a bit too complacent after scoring the 1st goal in the first half of the match. Nigeria subsequently applied the pressure. However Senegal's luck won through at least they make it into the next round. If you have to pay for a TV licence in Denmark as we do here in Britain you can ask them to show the African Nation's Cup in 4 years time, and get some more signatures of people who want to see it as well. They may televise it for 2010.
Peace

2010 No, they are showing it live in Denmark on Eurosport and my children watch it and tell me the results sometimes. Being here in the Arctic, Greenland with only one TV channel I have no chance of watching the matches live on TV, except on the Internet I only see a few clips in the Danish sports news summary in the evenings when it is shown. |

Gosh Momodou you cease to amaze me. Wow the ARCTIC and I'm crying about a bit of cold in England. Well if you're in Greenland they better be paying you some HEAVY corn man. Gosh Your good!! How can you stand the cold? So what do you think about the landscape there it must be amazing! I presume you have plenty of thermal layers on .
So what is the temperature out there a couple of weeks ago it was 51 degrees, is it true when you breath outside the vapour turns into crystals? What type of transportation do they use there, beside cars do you see motor sledges or traditional huskies and sledges or is that so far back in the day.(old Fashioned) I expect your working somewhere nice and warm working on the computers.I can't imagine you being out in the field taking ice samples. Isn't it dark there all day between December and January? Has the days started lighten up now since the winter solace has past. Finally are there any geezers in Greenland like they have in Iceland? I'll bet you'll have some fascinating stories to tell your children.
Likewise they probably have become some profficent commentors keeping you informed about the football. Did you get them to record the football for you so you can watch it when you return home?
Momodou keep up the good work your amazing.
Peace

Travelling here is by aeroplanes, helicopters, ships/boats, snow mobiles and dog sledges . There is no road between two towns or settlements . Temperature on wednesday afternoon in Nuuk = 21 degrees below zero with chill factor minus 29 You can view some pictures I took last week for my children and a few from last sumer by clicking this photo |

You are right, NO TREES! only rock and ice. There are only few trees in the south and the highest is perhaps 3m. Sankahjang, You must know that the Camaras can live without eating for months We live only on air.
By the way, add your favorite dishes in the recipe book above. |
