Kobo, challenges are very important. What do you mean by patronage?
China had a big challenge with the situation in the years after colonial times. And sorry, Jambo, but I think at that time they coulnd't have done anything better than following Mao Tse Dong. I know he is a VERY problematic figure. |

The MONEY AND RAMSON they are trying to politicaly extort through patronage from worldbank, IMF, Europe and America. Africxa should always suffer degradation and assume lower status under the Europe and America by playing beggar!
No further comments for now please. |

Kobo, How come Africa is playing beggar when Africa has contributed far more to the international community in free labour and resources than its ever got in return? And by the way kobo when did you become the dictator of the bantabaa? Telling people not to contribute isn't that admin's job?

The reparation policy is demand for money and extort finances from those parties mentioned earlier and that gesture imply the tradition for patronising Africa as a needy nation.
What do you mean Sister? Am exhausted on this topic and begged to be excuse for no further comments! Is that dictatorship? No further comments from me on this topic please! |

Sister Omega.
i know now that there is a slavery musuem somewhere in Barra, North Bank. i think this is a good approach to educate people gambians + tourists.
However maybe you can help in this field, i'm not sure if you have been there. i know in Linconshire i visited a slavery museum, think it was the Wilberforce Museum and it was very graphic and disturbing. they built like a model of inisde a slave ship with the smell, darkness, flooding etc
i think it would be a good idea to have a Slave ship anchored at Barra as a museum.
Education and recognition is perhaps is the biggest reparation.dont you agree?

Yes, Njucks I agree with you that education is the biggest form of reparations. It's important that history is remembered to raise our awareness on the issue, so that we have zero tolerance for contemporary slavery. Njuck's a slave ship anchored where the ships would of traditonally been located would be a good idea. If that's Barra why not?
Kobo my apologies,I misunderstood your statement.

Thanks Kobo. I've just been banned by the chief of Cocorioko. He hates me......... tell me Kobo, examine the evidence and tell me if you see any wrong doing on my part:

Compensation: that is the basic thirteen trillion dollar question, as computerised by a conservative Nigerian's estimate. |

Cornelius I subdue already not as a fan but as your disciple under this forum. You are resourceful and giving us the best all the time. However just appreciate that evry body is entitled to self opinion(s) and ignore the trivilities and petty issues and move on! Don't think no one can stop you, with a man of your calibre from moving on and on as proven to us through Bantaba.
Enjoy and fancy the jibes, jokes and other hypes! Its part of our companionship and spices things up! |

Kobo Thanx for sending in the link for English heritage. I posted in comment congratulating English heritage for this long overdue research, and proposed that it's results should be made available to be taught as part of the British National Curriculum.
